Actually if the Birmingham court doesn’t toss the lawsuit, either summary judgement or an actual trial on merits would have to occur before an appeal.
IIRC I don’t even think this is a hearing to toss the lawsuit. I believe this is a hearing where (bear with me…) the SEC wants part of LSU’s response to the SEC’s response to the motion to dismiss to be striken
This is lawyers taking turns pissing on a fire hydrant. Nothing to see here.

He’s already cost the SEC millions on his tv deal. Will cost who knows how much to the LSU players that didn’t get rostered once they file suit.

Of course it’s appealable. However, see my last post.
We aren’t even close to there being a trial, much less an appeal.
ETA: If you meant appealing a case not being dismissed, no that is not appealable — but this hearing isn’t even about the motion to dismiss.

LSU's response won't come until the regular season is complete. I think LSU is leaving, though. With a truckload of SEC money.
