Don't let this distract you from the fact that Scar has also lost to The Citadel 8 times, a school who has a losing football record and been to 1 bowl game in their entire history.

I’d rather lose to the citadel 10 times than have our entire team participate in a shite swastika boycott

I’d rather lose to the citadel than Purdue tbh
At least we can use the triple option excuse. And we didn’t have a coach. And a walk on at QB.
Mizzou had Drew Lock

Poop swastika by one lone goofball vs letting a bunch of aTm fellers spit, piss, and jizz all over your statehouse steps. Take your pick.

The poop swastika was meaningless. It was the irrational reaction that brought your university to its knees.

Auburn too. They’re in Georgia right?
If that’s the case, go ahead and take Georgia off the list.

LSU, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, & Mizzou don’t have another decent team in state.
Georgia Tech (4) has more National Championships then Texas A&M does.....and UGA for that matter. Also, it’s the same amount the top team in Texas has.
Georgia Tech has 7th most SEC Championships despite only being in the league 30 years and haven’t played in the league in 54 years.
They have a more recent national championship then Georgia or Texas A&M.....
I’d probably shut my mouth about something I don’t know anything about, considering this thread is about the history of programs, being someone needed to have lost 50 times......
ETA: we have 41 losses to them in 112 meetings. They have the largest margin of victory and the longest winning streak in our rivalry (COFH).
They have the 9th most bowl wins in the history of CFB
They have been to a NY6 Bowl and a BCS bowl, both more recently then the 1 BCS bowl TAMU has played in
Would you care to revise your statement?

Don’t let this distract you from the fact Missouri has lost to Kansas in football over 54 times
their 13 consecutive losing seasons from 1984-96 has only been achieved by one other current SEC school in the league's history - Vanderbilt. of course, UMO did this while a member of the Big2/Little6.
we should all 'high 5' Missouri for their stellar history.

They also gave 20+ wins over Bama& Tennessee , and 40+ over Auburn and UGA.
The rest of the SEC ? GT either leads the series or is tied.

LSU had Tulane early on, but once they left the SEC, Tulane has fallen
Vanderbilt was top dog early on but after WW II the Vols benefited from being the state school
Georgia had a serious rival in Georgia Tech when they were still in the SEC, now not as much, but still a primary rival.
Kentucky's early rival was Indiana but has become Louisville
Tennessee (see Vanderbilt)
So, only Arkansas and Missouri were the only teams without in state competition.

You do realize , early on, The Citadel was the best football team in SC like W&L used to be a football powerhouse in VA.
Prior to WW II and the GI Bill most of the best football schools in the USA were private ones.

would say 50 losses to an out of state team is pretty nuts. I think that would be Miz, Auburn, & UGA. Then maybe the really bad teams like MSU, Ole Miss, Vandy, & UK.
Just guessing here.
We have 50 losses to Georgia.

With all the games played in Jacksonville how many were technically in state losses?

Not all of them have been in Jax. I'm too lazy to look it up.
