SEC Stadium Visitor Seating
For anyone planning on going to any road games this upcoming year, I made a master list for where each SEC team designates as their visitor sections. All the information came from the school's official seating guides. Many ticket marketplaces like Ratemyseat.com have wrong or dated information for their visitor seating filter. If there is any information that needs to be updated, please give me a source and I'll change it on the list. Some school's information is harder to find than others since some don't directly show their visitor seating on their seating charts or have had recent renovations. Calls to the universities' ticket offices were made to verify information.

RECENT CHANGES FOR 2023: SEC required allotment has shrunk down to only 750 seats in the lower bowl. Auburn has dedicated section 37 as 'Young Alumni' seating, which was historically used for visitors. Kentucky has removed section 14 from the visitor allotment. Mississippi State has re-labeled all upper-deck sections and has switched the upper-deck visitor seating to the same side as the lower bowl seating. Mizzou has removed the lower bowl visitor family seating area at mid-field and allocated additional seating in the upper-deck. Tennessee has removed much of its former visitor seating in the upper-decks, only sections GG & HH remain. As of 2021, visiting students can now expect a generic SEC branded ticket stub for away games as opposed to the individually supplied ticket stubs from the hosting institution. Example of an Auburn student ticket for 2021 Auburn vs. South Carolina game in Columbia, SC.

This isn't new to 2023. I sat there in 2014 as a Young Alumni. It's a fun section to sit in.

We allow visitors to sit? When did that start?

I obviously understand why schools changed it but I kind of miss when the visitors were allowed a big section in the lower level. Created a better atmosphere in big games imo.

Thanks. Great resource. I miss the days of 4-5 thousand visiting fans in the lower bowl at all big SEC games.
I remember up through the mid-90s, I would always sit lower bowl at LSU, Georgia, Bama, etc. then things changed. Now I practically need binoculars to see the field at Bryant-Deeny.
LSU is the only one of the above three where it seems I still get lower deck visiting seats

Last time I was at LSU, sitting in the high country, and sitting next to me was a guy with a computer and microphone.
I asked if he worked for LSU and he said no.
He added he was an air traffic controller.
Bar da bing

We give visits visitors some of the best visitors seats I've seen anywhere.

Good post, but Mizzou's is out of date. The block M is no more.

A&M gives 2 lower sections.

Excellent information. Thanks for your work on this.
Question-how many seats does the SEC require a university to set aside for visitors?
What are the rules regarding seating for the home team's band and the students? Looking forward to getting out of our shitty league and into the SEC and some new places to visit.

Were there new renovations done this year? The chart I saw for 2022 is still what’s listed on their website and it has the ‘M’ in the end zone. I knew there was some things done recently but assumed it was on the other side. That ‘M’ has been there for almost 100 years (1927), that’s really unfortunate if it’s gone.

I think it used to be something in the neighborhood of around ~8K. That's probably old info so not idea what it is now.
