They could. This is only listing the teams one would play, not when you'd play them. You're free to schedule them whenever.

Auburn are you sure you want those as annual?

Absolutely. Honestly a better trade-off then playing Alabama, UGA, A&M and LSU every year regardless like we were in the SEC West.
Never understood why they wouldn’t. If you’re going to play a G5 team like Troy, UAB, Southern Miss, etc. every year, then you might as well schedule Tulane. A matchup with history behind it, limited travel costs, and with the ability to pack a stadium. I think this would mean a lot to older generations of Louisianans.
That’s really the only oddity I could find here. Everyone who’s close to OU has other teams that would be priority. Texas and Mizzou would probably be guaranteed but the third is up in the air.
Who would Texas get as their 3rd if not Arkansas? Texas-Arkansas has a lot more history to it than Arkansas-Mizzou does.
Personally I don't mind playing those 3 every year. Eventually the law of averages will level the playing field a create parity with time. After playing the gauntlet that was the SEC West along with UGA as a permanent opponent for the last two decades, Auburn fans are immune to consequences of playing a hard schedule.

LSU could be an option for UF but I see there being pushback from Ole Miss, Arkansas or A&M fans if LSU gets removed from their rotation.

LSU is one of those teams like Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee that everyone wants to have scheduled due to some historical connection or local proximity. While there are other schools like Mizzou, Kentucky, and Oklahoma that not enough schools are prioritizing scheduling them.
I agree. I had Mizzou with Oklahoma and South Carolina due to their previous pseudo-rivalries that have been artificially made either in the Big 12 or while they were in the SEC East. UK is also paired with them due to proximity.

The only rival they have in the conference is maybe Arkansas, but I know Arkansas fans aren't going to want to get rid of any of the three here to replace with Mizzou. I stay optimistic that they can find a way to renew their feud with Kansas into an annual affair.
I can guarantee Alabama isn't going to want to change any of the 3 they have here. The only one of those I could see is maybe Florida but I've seen most UF fans asking for Auburn over LSU.
I've tweaked a table I made several years ago when Texas and OU announced joining they would be joining the conference. The 3-9 schedule was a inevitability. What would you change? The only oddity I couldn't find a place for was Miss State-Oklahoma, as their next potential rivals (like LSU and Arkansas) already had higher prioritized pairings.

PRESERVED OR ADDED CONFERENCE RIVALRIES:
Iron Bowl (Auburn vs. Alabama)
Third Saturday in October (Alabama vs. Tennessee)
Battle for Highway 82 (Alabama vs. Miss State)
Battle for the Boot (Arkansas vs. LSU)
Southwest Classic (Arkansas vs. Texas A&M)
Deep South's Oldest Rivalry (Auburn vs. Georgia)
World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party (Florida vs. Georgia)
Magnolia Bowl (LSU vs. Ole Miss)
Egg Bowl (Ole Miss vs. Miss State)
Khaki Bowl (Ole Miss vs. Vanderbilt)
Red River Rivalry (Texas vs. Oklahoma)
Arkansas vs. Texas
Auburn vs. Florida (previously dormant)
Georgia vs. South Carolina
Kentucky vs. Tennessee
Kentucky vs. Vanderbilt
LSU vs. Texas A&M
Mizzou vs. Oklahoma (previously dormant)
Texas vs. Texas A&M
Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt

PRESERVED OR ADDED NON-CONFERENCE RIVALRIES:
Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate (Georgia vs. Georgia Tech)
Florida vs. Florida State
Governor's Cup (Kentucky vs. Louisville)
Battle for the Rag (LSU vs. Tulane)
Border War/Showdown (Mizzou vs. Kansas)
Mid–South Rivalry (Ole Miss vs. Memphis)
Bedlam Series (Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State)
Palmetto Bowl (South Carolina vs. Clemson)
Battle For The Chancellor's Spurs (Texas vs. Texas Tech)
I made this table years ago when Texas and OU joined the conference.
The long-term future of conference scheduling will be the focus point at this year’s conference meetings and Media Days. They’ve been waiting to see what the fall out from the ACC is going to be regarding Clemson and FSU. Also waiting on FOX and B1G to come to terms so they know where to start bargaining with ESPN from. Hence why we’ve had the flipped scheduled for the past two years and no set rotation. 9 conference games is inevitable and should’ve been done back in 2012.

My god. Can these commentators suck off Alabama anymore?
This is why Georgia fans were so against getting rid of divisions. No longer are their toughest opponents Tennessee and a 6-6 Auburn every year.
Auburn isn't winning a series again this year

I made this a few years ago when they announced Texas and OU. Mix and match however you like but it will likely look something like this once they make the announcement to go to 9 conference games.

Will this encourage Cal and Stanford to return to the PAC-12? The whole reason they left was because of the perceived collapse of the PAC-12. The ACC isn't in a much better shape. The Mountain West should take back Idaho, along with Montana, Montana St, NDSU, and SDSU.

I think they’re waiting to see how things develop with the ACC.
Almost certain. The general consensus is that they’ll move to 9 conference games, with only 3 annual rivals. With Auburn already getting Alabama and Georgia, it’s unlikely that they’ll give us another top team. Auburn’s third would probably be Miss State.
The aviation program has been lacking a bit since they built the Flight Education Building. Their hourly rates for aircraft have gotten to the point where they can only cater to the ‘Daddy’s Money’ type of students. The stage progression is also beyond slow. Students shouldn’t be taking over 4 years to earn 250 hours for a commercial rating.
