I would put South Carolina in the loudest category, but my experience is skewed by the fact they consider UGA a rival and get extra hyped.

Bingo this man gets it. It's frustrating as hell and the big reason why a game at Texas is more like an NFL game experience than a college game experience. I know CDC is trying to fix this but it's a tall order.

Same problem with Bama basketball.

Arkansas
South Carolina

Both of these programs have amazing fan support considering the shite product that's routinely trotted out on the field.

I like Sandstorm. I just like it more when we’re the only ones left waving your towels.

Congrats on that fifth win in 2022. It was a good one.

It was loud that day, for sure.

I agree with Florida, LSU and Auburn being at the top.

Auburn, without any doubt, belongs in loudest stadiums. I don’t see how anyone who’s actually been to all of these venues can put OU, Tennessee, and A&M over Auburn.

Florida belongs as well over the other 3.

I went to the Texas -LSU game in 2019 and the stadium experience was very good. Great crowd that was really into the game and pretty loud until the end.

Kyle Field and Neyland Stadium are far louder than OU, I would imagine many other SEC stadiums are also louder than the crowds in Norman.

While this is true I'm hoping that having SEC teams in Norman will help jack up the noise some.

OU never plays Texas in Norman and that is the only team that OU fans get really jacked up for. Maybe your OSU Cowboys a little bit... but not really.

The rest of the Big XII doesn't really move the needle at all in Norman. I mean, OU fans just don't hate anybody else in the league.

I don't know if "hate" will actually develop in the SEC...but one can always hope. At the very least I'm hoping that SEC opponents will generate excitement in the crowd that is simply lacking when Big XII teams come to town.

I kind of see Alabama and Georgia sparking the crowd sort of like how Notre Dame did when they came to Norman.

You're right in that was probably A&M's best highlight during a 5-7 season.

Mississippi State's stadium on an Egg Bowl Thursday full of cowbells is the loudest place on Earth and there's nothing you can say to change my mind.

That place in that scenario is louder than Arrowhead stadium. Someone needs to measure the sound at the next Starkville Egg Bowl

You know, the loudest stadium I've ever played in was 45,000 people at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas. The entire thing is concrete. It's like dropping a ball bearing in your neighbor's basement.
