re: Who here has been totally broke?
Posted by RedDirtPoke on 4/27/25 at 6:27 pm
I had been working a new job for several weeks and my paycheck was screwed up multiple times. I had moved and had to get a new apartment. Long story short, found out on a Friday afternoon that my check was still messed up, but would be resolved the following Monday. I had less than $10 in my account so got rice and beans and made a big pot to eat on that weekend. Then I found some easy money on Craigslist doing some manual labor and got some quick cash just in case the idiots in HR screwed up again on Monday.
re: Is the Cybertruck at risk of becoming Elon Musk’s first full-blown flop?

I don’t know anyone that has one, but I do see them around town. But I’ve never seen one hauling a load, pulling a trailer, or doing anything a car couldn’t do. Of course, a lot of guys have trucks they don’t use for work, so maybe I shouldn’t be surprised.

Thanks SEC baseball for a great 2 weekends, my conference schedule looks boring as hell now.
The SEC has become the best conference in seemingly every sport I follow besides wrestling. If we could join another conference for one sport I would pick SEC baseball hands down.

Elon is a weird guy. He isn’t having sex with these women and doesn’t seem interested in being a father to these children.

Mine are both under 3, and I try to savor every moment of bedtime stories.

Grand House has great dim sum.
Fungs for Peking Duck (call ahead to reserve).
Thai House.
Pho Cuong has great fresh shrimp spring rolls and pho.
I’m not sure what the best bahn mi is these days, but google produced some great options when I searched just now.

I should add that there is a lot of great East Asian food, specifically Vietnamese. Anything near NW 23rd and Classen will be good.

Baw Patrol

My kids are starting to get into Paw Patrol, so my wife (no pics) thought the OT should create a Baw Patrol parody, kind of like the Tunda Minous that the Cajun Nerd did. In the spirit of some recent posts I enlisted the help of AI to get us a head start on the theme song.
ChatGPT input: Write a theme song to a show called Baw Patrol based the term baw from the website tigerdroppings.com. Write the song in the same style as the show paw patrol.
**Baw Patrol Theme Song**
*(to the tune of "Paw Patrol" theme)*
*Verse 1:*
When things get wild and the threads get loud,
We need some heroes to clear the crowd!
Baw Patrol, they're here to save the day,
With hot takes, memes, and a bawin' way!
*Chorus:*
Baw Patrol, Baw Patrol,
We’re diving in to take control!
From spicy threads to heated fights,
They’ll keep it rolling day and night!
*Verse 2:*
Got a question? Just post it here,
Baw Patrol’s the crew you wanna cheer!
From trolls to memes, they’ll shut it down,
With laughs and roasts, they run the town!
*Chorus:*
Baw Patrol, Baw Patrol,
Riding high, they’re on a roll!
Catch a meme, or take a stand,
They’re the kings of this online land!
*Bridge:*
If the trolls attack, don’t fear the fight,
Baw Patrol’s got your back tonight!
*Chorus:*
Baw Patrol, Baw Patrol,
They’re the ones who own the soul!
On Tigerdroppings, loud and proud,
They’ll bring the noise and take a bow!
*Outro:*
Baw Patrol, Baw Patrol,
They’ll keep it real, that’s how they roll!
*(End with a group shout of "Baw!" echoing)*

What can you tell me about Kige Ramsey?
Kige Ramsey is a well-known and often discussed personality within certain online communities, particularly **TigerDroppings.com**, where he became a sort of internet celebrity due to his unique and eccentric persona. He is also recognized for his online videos, which have gained a cult following.
Kige Ramsey originally became known on TigerDroppings due to his humorous and offbeat takes on sports and pop culture, often accompanied by a distinctive style of delivery. His videos and posts were characterized by an over-the-top, exaggerated sense of enthusiasm, which led to both admiration and mockery from others. Kige’s online persona plays with the idea of an overly excited, sometimes clueless, sports fan—something that resonates with many internet users who enjoy absurd or self-aware humor.
In addition to his TigerDroppings presence, Kige Ramsey’s videos often incorporated themes of Southern culture, fandom, and sometimes outlandish takes on various topics. His style—unpredictable, flamboyant, and unapologetically offbeat—has made him a memorable figure to those who have followed his online content.
It’s important to note that Kige Ramsey’s content isn’t meant to be taken too seriously. He has embraced a kind of "ironic" persona, and much of his content is intentionally over-the-top, blending satire and comedy with sincere sports enthusiasm. This combination has helped him carve out a niche in internet culture, and he has been both a subject of memes and a figure beloved by some fans of the forum.
Overall, Kige Ramsey represents a kind of internet archetype—a person who combines a strong, often exaggerated personality with a love for sports and pop culture, which in turn makes him both entertaining and polarizing.

This was complete shite. Didn’t even mention his ranking lists.
What can you tell me about the tigerdroppings.com poster TulaneLSU.
TulaneLSU is a well-known and highly active poster on **TigerDroppings.com**, a popular online forum where LSU fans gather to discuss various topics, including sports, current events, and more. TulaneLSU is often recognized for his passionate, and sometimes combative, personality. His posts frequently revolve around LSU sports, particularly football, and he is known for his strong opinions and extensive engagement with other forum members.
One of the things that makes TulaneLSU stand out on TigerDroppings is his consistent participation in debates, often providing insightful commentary while also sparking heated discussions. His name, as the handle suggests, is a combination of "Tulane," which could be a reference to the Tulane University Green Wave (an in-state rival to LSU), and "LSU," which stands for Louisiana State University, his apparent alma mater or favorite team. This duality hints at a playful or perhaps ironic stance—often typical of internet forum usernames where users may adopt certain identities for entertainment or to provoke discussion.
TulaneLSU has become a recognizable figure on TigerDroppings for his active presence and distinct voice within the community. However, like many long-time forum personalities, he can be polarizing, garnering both loyal supporters and detractors. Many forum members know him for his strong opinions and his role in fueling the site's dynamic, sometimes chaotic, atmosphere.
While TulaneLSU has many contributions to the site’s culture, it’s also worth noting that, like many online communities, the tone of posts can be informal, irreverent, or even contentious at times. This can add to the overall entertainment value but also sometimes leads to controversy.

re: Are arenas going to need all bigger seats to accommodate fats?
Posted by RedDirtPoke on 12/29/24 at 12:05 pm
Oklahoma State recently widened all seats in the football stadium. This dropped capacity but was well worth it. Of course, much easier to do with bench style seats.

Get some saltines and smoked oysters, sardines, and kippered herring. Lots of great recommendations on here.

I wish we were still playing Bedlam, but we have completed our OOC schedule for the next decade and have agreements with Arkansas, Alabama, Oregon, and Nebraska. Hopefully they get it worked out, but there was no option to get OU on the schedule.
