Any list that doesn't have Auburn in the group of loudest stadium atmospheres is an invalid list.

Our stadium has plenty of issues. Atmosphere is not one of them.

I can't say i've ever been to a louder stadium, and i've been to most of the big ones. I can't make the argument Auburn is definitively louder than those either, but a list of the loudest stadiums that doesn't include Auburn in the top tier group should just be thrown out.

auburn pipes in noise and their band never shuts the hell up. To top it off, cults can get very emotional and loud so that helps them be motivated.

The problem at UK is the fans get loud when they're supposed to, ie on 3rd down. It gets plenty frickind loud then. It's the other parts of the games where it feels like the crowd is waiting for something to happen on field or some prompt from the PA guy. It's a good time but no we arent as rowdy as say an LSU or Texas A&M crowd is all game.

I definitely think Auburn is one of the most underrated
Even in these recent lean years that place can get loud especially at night

No better atmosphere then LSU in games like Florida in 2019 and Bama in 2022
Problem with LSU has been lack of interest at times and not the consistent atmosphere for the entire season - I think the fan base got a little spoiled over the years

The mic man is kind of annoying though. I could do without him.

My experience in 43 years of watching SEC football, LSU at night in a big game is the loudest. But it can be silent at times also. Florida Field in Spurrier era and Auburn were tremendously loud.

Alabama and Texas may be more quiet than they'd like, but corporations buying up all the tickets and the old people sitting on their hands, it's hard to get them as loud as they used to be.

This unfortunately is true.

South Carolina last played in Texas in 1957; is that the last time you were in Austin?

DKR is noticeably louder since they enclosed the south end zone.

AUSTIN, Texas — When it comes to big college football games, Alabama linebacker Will Anderson Jr. has seen a thing or two. Despite having played in two College Football Playoff National Championship Games, Anderson said that Saturday's game at Darrell K Royal-Memorial Texas Stadium was the toughest game that he's ever played.

"To be honest, since I've been here these last three years, this is probably the loudest environment I've played in." Anderson said. "Probably the hardest game I've played in since I've been in college football. Their fans were super loud, they had a lot of energy. But the atmosphere was crazy."

Ole Miss had one of the worst stadium atmospheres in the SEC before Kiffin but it’s a completely underrated now. Ole Miss has only lost 2 home games the past three seasons under Kiffin.

Much better this year I noticed, still lacking. Once the boomers are gone it can take another step forward.

Texas A&M is not one of the 4 loudest stadiums in the SEC.

LSU, Auburn, and Florida (when UF is good) are the three loudest

This.

Jordan Hare 2006 UF vs AU was the loudest game I have ever attended.

Malzahn said the swamp in 2019 was one of the loudest his ever been apart of.

We've been throwing shite at those guys since my days in AU 25 years ago. Thankfully, we only have one of those homos unlike aTm.

Overrated? I've never seen DKR rated highly when it comes to crowd noise or atmosphere. We have sort of a hybrid NFL/College type environment that isn't as sterile as the former or as traditionally rowdy as the latter.

Crowd noise has gotten considerably louder since they semi-enclosed the SEZ, but still not like the stadiums that give the sound nowhere to go but straight up.

Our game atmosphere also depends on opponent just like everyone else...and can be surprisingly loud when someone good comes to Austin, especially a night game.

This is just based on personal experience and input from friends that have been to other stadiums.
