That's a weird flex, saying they have to rely on ancient history to be better than Ole Miss, but you do you.

1 year
Ole Miss = 10-3
UT - 10 - 3
2 years
Ole Miss - 21-5
UT - 19-7
4 years
Ole Miss - 39-12
UT - 37-15
5 years
Ole Miss - 44-17
UT - 37-22
10 years
Ole Miss - 66-56
UT - 62-60
15 years
Ole Miss - 100-88
UT - 96-90
I like it...let's keep it going:
20 years
Ole Miss - 133-107
UT - 137-106
25 years
Ole Miss - 164-135
UT - 181-125
30 years
Ole Miss - 199-159
UT - 232-156
35 years
Ole Miss - 228-186
UT - 278-149
There is a good point to stop (unless you want me to go on). UT has won 4 more games in 30 years than Ole Miss has in 35. I can go on back to the 80s and the 70s...but the numbers won't be kind to Ole Miss.

Pretty remarkable to consider Ole Miss a rival since our programs are in 2 completely different tiers.
Since winning the natty LSUs program reached new lows this century while Ole Miss is in the middle of what would be considered a dynasty where they’re from and yet Ole Miss has 1 more win than LSU during OP’s time frame

Ok...you point would be...
In decades past...Tennessee was a superior program to Ole Miss. Then, you have the worst 15 year period in the history of Tennessee football (2005-2020), and Ole Miss passed Tennessee. After recovering from the transition of Dooley, to Jones to Pruitt...Josh Heupel has Tennessee 2 wins behind Ole Miss while playing a significantly harder schedule (note the earlier post regarding the number of ranked teams each has played).

Exactly my point. This thread is retarded. Thanks for backing me up.

Hang the banner next to the 2003 West Co-Championship.

Looking at you Tennessee and Oklahoma
You do not have recent history, so we got to go

+1 for Texas is the Real UT

Oh look, yet another Ole Miss "We-haven't-been-to the-SEC-Championship-Game-or-won-an-official-NCAA-natty-but" thread.

OP clearly limited the scope to SEC teams.

P4 OOC Opponents of Ole Miss over that span:
2021 Louisville 6-7
2022 Georgia Tech 5-7
2023 Georgia Tech 7-6
2024 Wake Forest 4-8
2025 Washington State currently 2-2, not even P4 anymore, and has back to back losses to North Texas 59-10 and Washington 59-24
Nut up and play somebody worth a damn for once
