SEC Men's Basketball Standings Since ExpansionPosted by BHMKyle
on 1/14/21 at 11:24 am

This includes all conference regular season games as well as SEC Tournament games:
.777- Kentucky (129-37)
.646- Florida (106-58)
.561- Tennessee (92-72)
.540- Arkansas (88-75)
.535- LSU (85-74)
.497- Alabama (81-82)
.494- Ole Miss (79-81)
.488- Texas A&M (78-82)
.459- S. Carolina (72-85)
.448- Georgia (73-90)
.426- Auburn (69-93)
.398- Miss St (64-97)
.365- Vanderbilt (58-101)
.350- Missouri (55-102)
Hard to believe that Mizzou could have a worse record than Vanderbilt. We all thought adding Missouri would help bolster the SEC in basketball, but it turns out they've been the worst program in the league now during the past 8+ seasons.
Kentucky is on just a whole different level.
Perhaps the most striking stat is LSU's horrific performance in the SEC Tournament...

I think we are 7-6 against LSU in that time period.

It's been 1,770 days since LSU last won an SEC Tournament game. That's unreal!
We seemingly never put any emphasis on the SECT, and that goes from coach to coach.
Heck even Wade sat out of it one year

We're definitely on a different level this year. Bottom of the Bourbon barrel.

Kind of shocking. And essentially it's just UK and UF then the rest. Not shocking.

LSU and Auburn have had the biggest turnarounds during the period. Auburn started out 28-70 during the first five seasons of this period.... they are 41-23 since.

Well when you have 14 teams and all the games are in conference somebody has to have losing records.....

Exactly. Law of averages says we should have 7 teams at or above .500, but when you have a team that has been so dominating at the top like Kentucky, that takes away more wins from the rest of the group.
