Ole Miss will supplant Vandy when the NCAA gets done. No wonder the Rebels want to retain Freeze at all costs, they'd have a hard time getting a HC worth a shite to take over during the sanctions.

LSU should be number one. Les Miles has already proven that the coaching equivalent of Goober Pyle can win a national title in Baton Rouge.

UF should be at number 2. I'd even say you could swap UF & Bama. Bama is on top because of Saban and the success he's had, but just looking at the job itself it's hard to top UF.

How is Florida ranked #4? Since expansion, they have won numerous SEC titles, 3 national championships, have had two hall of fame coaches and a multitude of NFL talent. They are in one of, if not the most, talent rich recruiting areas in the country. I'd put them at #2.

What causes me to hesitate a bit, though, is that as many advantages as A&M has, there isn't a whole lot of success to go with it. The Aggies haven't won a national title since 1939 and only won one conference title since the formation of the Big 12 in 1994. Hell, they only won three divisional titles in that time.

All sports considered, objectively I would have to swap Florida with Georgia even with Georgia's in-state recruiting advantage.

I couldn't honestly put UF ahead of either LSU or Georgia. In fact, I think those are the two best jobs in the league(and most underachieving). There is nothing wrong with fourth on that list. Not when you consider the three ahead of them.

The only reason to have Bama over UF is that Bama has unparalleled booster support

even if you threw the sanctions out the window... OM still shouldn't be that high.

Not saying you're wrong, but you realize that none of the jobs listed behind them are really good jobs, right? I don't think whoever put this together considered the dearth of in state talent in Mississippi and the fact that LSU and Bama both border it on top of that. But Ole Miss does have a national title and one of the best two decade runs in conference history on its side.

The current coaching in the SEC is weak. With all these great jobs, one would think we'd attract top shelf head coaches.
