I noticed that none of the coaches said a word to any of the players right after the Bama/Auburn melee on the sideline. That would not have happened back in the day (just a couple of years ago lol).

Yep. Got to change the contracts. If you are paid can go to portal for two years or whatever time. Plus credits might not transfer to the other school. Lol

What’s crazy is this is happening at the high school level with the 3 main sports baseball, football and bball. Players that are good enough to make the D1 or are already committed are simply trying to ride out the next few years or year. Winning doesn’t matter anymore. The championships don’t matter. It’s all about the $. I certainly don’t want to paint every player that way because there are still guys that want to win but really sad what $ has done from the college level. Now trickling down to the high school level.

When a player gets paid more than their coach, it has an affect on the relationship. Same way if a woman makes more money than her man.....Argue all you want but its true.
