Real fricking simple, because women don't have to question if the baby is theirs. Infidelity is horrible for anyone to do but it the issue amplifies when a baby is made as a result.

Entry level jobs get entry level pay. Don't have kids when you're an entry level employee. Better yet if they're so smart they can start a business and let's see them work around the clock, take all the risk and we'll see how they pay their employees.
