Trolling is fun, but that's not gonna happen if the SEC office has anyone with a brain. There are lots of ways to statistically analyze that, and I'm pretty sure people are already analyzing officiating for various reasons. The risk to a conference would be a lot greater than the "reward".

I am not happy either about Bryant Denny - West getting turned into rubble. But it is too big for us to move it out of Baton Rouge. We will just have to make sure our insurance is paid up.

They wouldn't get sued over a single call. They'd get sued over a statistical analysis that identified a non-random pattern spanning multiple games. Probably backed up by a comparative video analysis of other officiating. Plus, one of the many officials involved would speak up when offered proper incentive, like avoiding charges. If you were gonna rig games using officiating, the last thing you want to do is establish an identifiable pattern by focusing on one team.
