This is not the victory the SEC rant thinks it is.

This is a horrible look for Sankey and the SEC as a whole.

To have Texas roster a player and then make the dumb comment "we are rostering him but not depth charting him because of the questions surrounding eligibility".

Texas honestly should have rostered him and never said anything and just played like it was 100% cool

They allege LSU and Kiffin encouraged or coerced the players to sue the NCAA and the league. They allege we didn't just recruit them but caused the litigation against our own conference and they believe we should be expelled for that.

Good. There's a vote in two days. Let's see how the chips fall.

LSU insiders have already said they have the receipts of Texas, Alabama, etc harboring players and doing the exact same thing.

Honestly frick the 300 lb losers celebrating this. The Big 10 would be on the phone with LSU literally seconds after this happens. Sankey and the SEC would look like mouth breathing hillbillies that are petty

So prior to this lawsuit, the SEC didn’t already have that authority? Interesting. And will this give them the authority to expel just LSU or any school in the future for not following rules?

I bet it’s more of a confirmation thing. If the conference did it without confirmation, LSU would sue saying the conference didn’t have the authority.

For the SEC fans who are celebrating this, this exposes each of your programs to massive damages that could fund LSU NIL for years. So be careful about what you celebrate.

Who is "they"? The SEC never alleged that in the original complaint. I haven't read the entire amended complaint, but I haven't seen where they've alleged it here either. The amended complaint is because Sankey was pissed he got bitch slapped on national tv with Kiffin's comment heading into the locker room.

So, apparently the allegation is lack of institutional control. TIFWIW

Oh man, if this goes through they can kick old piss and Texas out for playing players that they had told them were ineligible or those teams can take the penalty for a head coach suspension, and the fine while also having to pull those players from their roster.

We kicking schools out of the SEC for halftime comments? LSU will want our of the SEC if this is the actual case. Bama added a pro player last year in basketball. Not a single word of punishment for Bama. But now Sankey is so butt hurt he wants to kick us out for following the rules and talking a little shite. It's more likely Greg doesn't have a job by 2027 than LSU not being in the SEC.

Well, 15 SEC presidents and chancellors are meeting Thursday to decide, so we’ll know in about 48 hours.

Again, this shite is getting crazy.

Sankey is fixing to lose his job.

No one is going to feel real comfortable about him trying to big dick a charter member because he's been made to look like an idiot in multiple courts.

The SEC can already expel a member with a 2/3 vote. Sankey clearly views this as an issue he can manipulate to gain power for himself and the league office and useful idiots will just hand it to him.

Honestly, at this point, LSU can leave the conference for all I care. Sankey is incompetent and hurts the members with stupid ideas like a 9 game schedule.

We didn't roster the players. SEC won already.

What hill are we dying on?

Claiming LSU doesn't have institutional control over a joke made to a halftime reporter is insanity.

You will not get a dime of Alabama or Auburn’s money. That’s a lead pipe lock of the century. Yall enjoy your new rivalries with Houston and Texas Tech in the Big 12. XD

Sankey has a lack of control of his emotions and a lack of basic competency

I can't believe how unprepared he was to explain his basic definitions. Getting red arse over your own incompetence being highlighted is the opposite of leadership. A good leader would been prepared 99 times out of 100 and would have assumed responsibility on the 100th.

The difference between Sankey and Slive is astronomical and painful

Because our coach took a subtle jab during a halftime interview and our president has remained silent. Sankey looks like a petulant child.
