I can take/leave McShay McDonough ( they aren't bad by any means) but I do think Blackledge is the best in the business right now.
Agreed, but I'd still take Ron Franklin back.
Damn you, Holly Rowe!

I am researching RadioDelay so I can sync the sound from the MSU network and turn off the sound from the tv.

Also, I like the CBS crew more than most. Brad does a good job and Gary is the most observant color guy around. I know he can come across a little full of himself but I kinda find it funny knowing how many people he bothers.

Nessler is really great as well but Gary can not help himself. I really don't want to hear about Bama when they are not playing.

I wish ESPN would load up a truck and pay Gus Johnson to come there. Love him on Fox, he can make an Iowa vs Illinois game sound like the best thing you have ever seen.

McDonough and Blackledge are great. McShay is meh.
There was a point toward the end of the game where McShay said more or less..."it just goes to show how much grit these two guys(Waddle and Smith) have by still being in the game."
Blackledge said..."or it's because Saban wants Young to get some time throwing to them in a live game setting."
McShay was like...."Ok, good point."

LOL - yea, I love that McDonough has no issue being a smart arse both in general and at McShay.

Also, his voice cracking on huge calls is the best. That Michigan State/Michigan wild ending was the best of those.
My favorite is his "Green is behind the defense" call from '97 UF/FSU.

Agree although as a Bama guy I don’t know how you don’t enjoy Gary sucking on y’all balls as much as he does

I don't hate Gary nearly as much as everyone else. It can be frustrating when he decides to make the same point over and over again.
He's the best in the business at assessing things on the field and pointing them out in real-time.

Oh, hell no! I don't need to hear a 2 yard off tackle plunge yelled into my TV at 200 decibels like the Kick 6 just occurred.

I miss Blackledge on CBS. Him and Verne were great together IMO. Sooooo much better than Gary

I've always like McDonough. Don't know why CBS dumped him.

Agree. Blackledge has always been my favorite. He just announced and analyzes without all the extra shite like say a Gary Danielson has. Not a fan of McShay(some personal from his UofR days) but he's good as the sideline guy.

I like McDonough and Blackledge. McShay is fine, but I could do without him.

Ness is the absolute best in the business. Smooth as silk, as are his suits. Tirico is right there w/him.

Gary is fine most of the time.
It's just when he gets hung on a certain play, call or some narrative and then harps on it for the entire game, sometimes multiple games.
Also, those little "Gary's Thoughts" segments they do...while they show the football game in the corner are terrible and I don't know why CBS thinks we would rather look at Gary while he tells us his thoughts on a subject while the actual football game everyone tuned in to watch is happening in the background.

It's wild how he does that. He just can't let stuff go.

Like on Saturday when he was hung up on how Leach offense was going to help Kylin Hills draft stock.
