Such a tired narrative not based in reality.
Ole Miss hasn’t won a conference title since integration… who’s not based in reality again?

Can I have your autograph?

If he were at Auburn he’d be in the same situation- beat Bama and you’re in. He literally has Ole Miss exactly where he’d have Auburn - an Alabama victory away from the SEC Championship.

We have been within a game or 2 of the playoffs. Is it likely? no. It took Auburn the best player of the last 50 years to do it.
We have been to to the BCS Championship after that (2013) and beat #1 Alabama and #2 UGA and represented the west in 2017. UGA got us in the rematch. Now tell me how close Ole Miss has been since 2010

Now do Ole Miss
Brewer - fired
Dunn - Interim and wasn’t retained
Tommy T- Left em for a better program
Cutcliffe- Fired
Ed O- Fired
Nutt- Fired
Freeze- Fired
Luke- Fired
I mean shite, at least come with something you aren’t just as bad at or worse.

The money disparity that existed 25 years ago when tuberville left Oxford doesn’t exist anymore…. Everyone’s got money now.
I've posted this many times over the past few days, but it's especially true now. Lane Kiffin is currently the 11th highest paid coach in college football. He is making more than Harsin was at Auburn. If Kiffin leaves, it won't be for money.

Even if we can somehow upset Bama in two weeks (assuming they dispatch the Tigers on Saturday), we'd have work to do after that.

The Lane Kiffin sweepstakes never disappoints.
Now that I’ve seen it play out a few times I’ll go ahead and let you know how it ends.
Step 1: delusional fans proclaim “zomg we’re totally the better program and Kiffin will be tripping over himself to come here!!”
Step 2: Sexton leaks BS to media to make Kiffin appear interested. Sexton / Kiffin leverage media frenzy for raise from Ole Miss.
Step 3: butthurt fans of program that never had a shot at landing Kiffin - “we didn’t want him!! If we did he’d be here!!”

Don't forget step 4, which is when fans claim Kiffin was literally begging for the job but didn't get it.

Serious question. Do you think you can win a natty at Ole Miss. (Football)
Sure. Gotta get things lined up. Imagine if Corral had returned for his final year of eligibility - would we legitimately be competing for the conference? Yes. With the NIL and transfer portal Lane filled in a bunch of spots with this team - and we're not at good as we were last year. Lots of 1st year players are starting for us this year. They'll only get better. We're at our week 10 bye, and we're 8-1. Can't complain at all. We'll probably go 1-2 in our final games to finish 9-3, which was my preseason prediction. Next year we'll be much improved.

Now do Alabama since 1982.
And I guarantee Saban will not have a graceful end if he starts losing 3 games a year.

Nope he isn’t wrong. Right now currently Ole Miss is a better job than Auburn. Overall Auburn is the more traditional power the last 20 years or so but what they got going on there right now is a circus so Lane Kiffin would be stupid to leave stability to go into that shite show.
