From 2014 to 2020 alone, UN agencies spent nearly $4.5 billion in Gaza, and overall aid to Palestinians totaled more than $40 billion between 1994 and 2020.

You usually don't see this from the right. Bit of an outlier.

In an attempt to save herself, Elisabeth Lederer made up a story that Klimt, who was not Jewish and died in 1918, was her father. It helped that the artist spent years working meticulously on her portrait.

Nazis looted the Lederer art collection, leaving only the family portraits, which were considered “too Jewish” to be worth stealing

Lawrence Reed, 50, was charged with one count of committing a terrorist attack or other violence against a mass transportation system on Wednesday out of the Northern District of Illinois in connection with the Monday night attack.
quote:
Surveillance footage captured the moment Reed walked through the train car while holding a bottle and approached the victim, a 26-year-old woman with her back towards him. He then poured liquid over her head and body and attempted to ignite it, according to the criminal complaint.
quote:
Retracing Reed’s steps, investigators found surveillance footage of Reed at a gas station convenience store shortly after 9 p.m. on Monday evening. That footage showed he filled a small container with gasoline at a gas pump, then went to a blue line station nearby, according to the complaint.
He just went out to burn someone alive that night. I did originally think it would be a South American, but this one was home grown. Yogi was right though.

Ease traffic, lower rent, save on educational and healthcare costs, reduce local pollution.

The latest estimates from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools show more than 30,000 students were absent Monday, the first school day since Border Patrol deployed in Charlotte.
quote:
Elementary schools with high Hispanic student populations accounted for some of the lowest attendance rates. At Sterling Elementary School, where more than 500 of the school’s 700 students are Hispanic, only about 34% of students were listed in attendance. That was the lowest attendance rate out of any elementary school. Other elementary schools with attendance rates in the 30s included Montclaire Elementary School and Nations Ford Elementary School. At the majority-Hispanic Garinger High School, nearly half the student body was reported absent.

heard stories recently of very legit looking $ being used to scam sellers.
They have the money tester pens. They can be beat apparently, but it's better than nothing.

ICE would be a glorified UBER service if Congress held the companies criminally liable for hiring illegals instead of just the person. Put consequences on the employer and this all goes away.

As of 2023, an estimated 3.3 million to 4.3 million unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. were not working or actively seeking work.
Going after employers would go a long way towards stopping this, but we also have to go after government money going to illegals, and I assume some of these are coming here exclusively to do crime.

Seems like a lot to stuff into one movie.

Doesn't it usually go the opposite way? They get the Americans to train the H-1B then fire the American?
Penny cost: Approximately 3.7 cents to produce in fiscal year 2024.
Nickel cost: Approximately 13.8 cents to produce in fiscal year 2024.
Financial implications: While the government has been losing money on pennies for a long time, the cost of a nickel has risen significantly due to raw material prices, creating a new financial problem if pennies were eliminated and more nickels were needed.

I read it as a teenager and loved it. Did not find it boring, and I was less tolerant of boring subjects back then.
