I don't have a dog in the fight, but Lane's response was much different here than it was when he was flapping his gums at that stupid 'journalist' a few months back. Guess he wasn't surrounded by security, to save his arse, on the beach.

1) His response was the appropriate one. Just stay silent and ignore/walk away, especially since he's being filmed. What "should" he have done IYO, talk shite back?

Absolutely not.
Not suggesting his response should have been any different. My point is he didn't have any issue calling out the so-called journalist, that called him a "ho" in an article, and essentially challenging him to a fight while surrounding by police and security. He didn't have a problem with the cameras then but he saw an opportunity to put on his faux tough guy routine knowing, if the reporter took him up on his threat, the dude would be drug off of him with the quickness.
