Sankey has made this to where a“win” for the SEC is kicking out a valuable founding member

That is why he is a moron. Everyone of the the SEC members holds extreme value to the conference. Regardless of who you are . A conference losing a founding member is embarrassing.

Leaking stories to the media now has put the SEC in a situation where a “win” is likely worse than a loss

I truly can’t believe how poorly he has handled this mess . He could have fought against these guys coming back without making an absolute circus of it all

Well, right now the SEC doesn't have a lot recourse. They are being told by a court in Louisiana what they can and cannot do

LSU has managed to pull off the tail wagging the dog....you really don't see how this could be problematic?

Is LSU valuable? Your retarded actions say otherwise

Since he’s making a huge fuss about pro athletes coming back to college it would’ve been really nice if he could’ve actually defined what a pro was yesterday. Guy has to go.

Their recourse was to not leak stories to the media saying they would kick LSU out of the conference

That threw a nuclear warhead on a situation that quite frankly is not that big in the grand scheme of things

Imagine if Goodell was ever so fricking stupid with deflate gate or any other scandal to do something like that

Sankey does not have a vote on this. Make no mistake, if LSU gets kicked out it won’t be Greg Sankey doing it.

I truly can’t imagine being so dumb to ever say something like this

I mean imagine letting 18-24 year olds running around on a field block your brain from any basic rational thought

This is correct

The idea that Sankey is completely at fault for this as LSU goes scorched earth is silly. LSU is going nuclear and Sankey either has to go nuclear too, or let LSU do whatever they want.

Both choices have consequences.

He’s needed to go for a while, but replacing sankey doesnt address lsu conference defiance, regardless of what happens lsu has damaged relationships with their business partners. Curious to see how this plays out

LSU enabled an entitled idiot to put them in opposition to every single team in the conference. That doesn’t sound like a valuable university. It sounds like a trouble maker.

Why? The SEC was never going to win in court yesterday and all that would have done is locked the conference into a definition for subsequent lawsuits.

Why?? Because shouldn’t you be able to define the one thing they say we should be getting in trouble for? They can’t define it because they’ve already let the shite go on so long. That’s why.

A member institution is actively supporting (and according to the SEC working with) judges in Baton Rouge and players to sue the SEC so they can’t enforce their own rules.

Y’all can chirp all you want about how “it’s the players! Not LSU!” but anyone with some critical thinking skills knows who is actually behind this. Especially when NFL coaches are saying Kiffin reached out to talk to them to talk about one of his former players that’s one of the main names in this lawsuit.

So yeah, it 100% warrants it. Your moronic administration thought they could hide behind “it’s the players not us!! Well guess we better sign them since they’re eligible anyway!” even though the conference made a rule prohibiting it.

It would be like using a hand puppet to call your wife a bitch to her face and then saying “the puppet did it! Not me!”

LSU is defiant. LSU is not a good partner. Maybe LSU doesn’t belong in the SEC anymore

LSU fans seem to have an issue conflating "Sankey" with the entire conference outside of Louisiana

The rest of the conference doesn't value you.
