Awful stuff like this going on seemingly everywhere you look these days....the recent mass shootings in Louisiana, Indiana, here in Los Angeles and on and on.

I know this is a sports board, but a heads-up is needed for everyone to realize something far more important than sports needs tending to in our society and it begins with each and everyone of us.

What id be curious to know is was there anyone at the bar who was supposed to be watching out for her? If so, where were they when she was being led out?

We just hear about these things more with more media and the internet.

There were gangsters back in the day who killed the crap out of each other and some became glorified, Bonnie and Clyde come to mind, not gangsters but but were outlaws.

Bad people do bad things.

Not sure, but think they've arrested 3 guys responsible already. Sounds like they fed her shots, rain a train on her, then dumped her on the side of the road. Her BAC was like .30+. Such a sad story. Hopefully those dudes never see the the outside of a jail cell.

Couldn't find her friends at the bar.

Historically, most of the bars in tigerland are aggressive and creative with ways to keep less desirable out of their bars.

Club Reg doesn't give a shite about what kind of crowd they have. They also don't care about serving underage.

I hope the shithole gets closed forever and the owner goes bankrupt.

The 3 punks were all underage, as was the victim. She was so loaded that when she was hit, by 2 vehicles, she was standing in the middle of the street. Sad all the way around.

No, man. It was 3 men, 1 juvenile boy. He was 17, so he'll probably eat adult charges anyway.

ETA: I used to live in that condo complex that she got hit in front of. This is 3-4 miles southwest of campus, and it is pitch black there at night.

BAC has nothing to do with size. I knew a girl in college who got a DUI with a blood drawn .27 BAC. She just had a very high alcohol tolerance.

After enough drinks she would refuse to be called by her real name (Ashley) and would only respond if you called her by her drinking name (Smashley).

Edit: given the subject of the OP, post wasn’t appropriate.

The owner owns JLs, and Mikes as well. It’ll be interesting to see what happens

Saw their liquor license was revoked today but that’s probably the least of their worries right now.

Appreciate the sentiment but to say this happened "@LSU" is shitty. The bar and the incidents have nothing to do with LSU other than both being located in the same city.

It's dangerously high. I think .40 and above is toxic.

I don't think the OP meant to imply that it occurred on campus or was somehow putting blame on your school. However, saying it has nothing to do with LSU is standing on a technicality. Even your president said establishments like this bar are putting LSU students in harms way. Sounds like he wants the city to wake up.
