Saw their liquor license was revoked today but that’s probably the least of their worries right now.

Was that Reggie's or the one where the mass shooting happened or both?

I know the other one got theirs revoked.

from my experience college bars and frats are much, much safer than some of the horror stories i've heard from off campus or house party stuff from people I know who didn't attend college or went the comm college/transfer route. I'm sorry but one horrible incident after hundreds of thousands of students partied there safely shouldn't shut the whole thing down. and also they didnt even meet her at the bar from what I read, they probably got told to kindly F off as reggie's famously does to any local BR trash

You’re thinking of Fred’s. Reggie’s is notorious for letting anyone and everyone in and serving anyone underage. They’ve been doing it for decades. It was a matter of time before their negligence resulted in something terrible happening

The bar and the incidents have nothing to do with LSU other than both being located in the same city.

Bruh, you can stand on the deck at Fred's and piss onto the LSU-owned golf course. I've done it many times.

Yes, technically, it is not LSU property, but it is still the most popular bar spot for LSU students.

And if it were just LSU students that hung out there, the worst that would ever happen is fist fights, but for some reason, we still think joint LSU-SU parties are a great idea and nobody with any power has done anything about the 1000 or so section 8 apartments behind tigerland.

I try to tell young people, stay out of places where bad things happen, and stay away from people that do bad things. Do that and most of the risk is gone.

After reading the arrest warrant ……Not sure that’s exactly how this story went.

The rape was consensual sex
The girl was shite faced and couldn’t tell them where she lived
So they took her to a subdivision and let her out
She wandered around and got hit by a car

That’s what I gathered after reading it

Lots of blame to go around.

It’s a horrible thing. I am little confused about the quote above tho- not sure how any of us could have helped.

I don’t know much about this story but I do know that most states say you can’t give consent when you’re drunk. I’d imagine Louisiana is one of those.
