Ha just made a thread on him on the coaching board
Lindsay Scott Jr - Asst Qb coach at Texas Tech
Posted by r0cky1 on 11/10/25 at 9:06 am
Not a head coach thread. Thought it was interesting to see though. He’s name to watch to bring back on the staff in some way. Kid never had the tools for LSU to play. Would love to see him come back and coach QBs though
Edit - didn’t see the thread just on him earlier

Golesh could come in and keep the whole defensive staff. Don’t see why not

Why would LSU fans want a guy fired for $54 million to hire a first time coach in college?
Have you looked at the top coaches in CFB? Majority got their first time as HC from coordinator.
Not advocating for him but simply pointing out. Coordinators coming up have really been successful

Yeah, if we lose in state ot, big dt, and others, our 3 yr future is bleak.
How can you say this? Does the portal not exist anymore? Insane take.
Lance heard committed to us when we were humming and then transferred.
Just get the right coach and it’ll fall in place
Francis will be the next great LSU WR book it

All those coaches besides saban didn’t do shite on their 2nd stint

I’d take Stein or Hartline ASAP
Hope we turn the pressure on Brent Key if no Kiffin

Even though they lost, I think he’s one of the best coaches out there that we could hire.
It’ll be hard with all his tech ties but he seems like he’d really do well to bring back the toughness at LSU. Has hired solid coordinators in the last well.

re: Why is a children’s hospital looking at spending $50M for naming rights at new LSU arena?

OLOL looking to spend $50+ million on naming rights of new LSU arena that won’t even be owned by LSU. This whole arena proposal seems like some insiders will have their pockets lined nicely. Shouldn’t OLOL use these funds towards lowering hospital costs instead of an arena?
Don’t they also have the naming rights to ULL stadium?

I used to think like you. However, research shows that although ACT scores correlate with IQ, they DON' T correlate with college graduation. High school GPA's do correlate with college graduation rates
Ya this is really wrong and why LSU is in this mess.
How can you say GPA correlates to IQ and ACT doesn’t? Probably because you can’t spell your own name?
Penalize kids that went to harder higher schools for not having a 4.0 but don’t take into consideration their higher ACT/SAT scores?
Takes the middle average at any top private and public school, and they will out perform the majority of failing public schools throughout the state besides a handful.

Beating inflation somewhat, which is good. However it isn’t ’up 15%’ when you consider that there’s 24T$ in circulation, and we are printing 2T$ annually. Half that growth isn’t VALUE, it’s inflated stock price
Love the word vomit….

What’s it doing then?

He would prefer to make standardized test scores optional, but he has set higher GPA standards since he’s been here, mostly for out-of-state students since UA is about 60% out-of-state students
Really a non negotiable. He has to implement test scores again at lsu
