Maybe, maybe not. I mean Ohio State did pretty well in the playoffs. While true, they got beat by Michigan and did not win their conference it could be argued that Alabama lost to Tennessee and LSU.
If it were me, I might vote:
1. UGA
2. OSU
3. Alabama
4. TCU
5. Michigan
Or something along those lines.

Exactly.
MAYBE Ohio State? I mean they had a bad game against Michigan. Alabama had a bad game against LSU and Tennessee.
Ohio State gave Georgia a tough game for 60 minutes.

If we are honest, most of us think Bama is a #2.

Nah, Bama is not #2, probably 4 or 5. I would put Ohio State over Bama, maybe TCU.

This is the guy who still believes TCU is the second best team in the country.

Nobody can justify that. Sorry.

Yes it is
Best team Bama beat was Texas (and everyone knows they shouldn't have)

We'll never know. But if Texas starting QB had not gotten injured, I think Texas would have won.

I think you have to give tOSU the #2 spot. It took a furious fourth quarter comeback for UGA to beat them. Buckeyes had a terrible half against Michigan, but on the other side:
Alabama lost to UT and LSU. Both of those teams fall into the good but not great category. Other than the bowl game, just not a lot of impressive performances from the tide this year. Came down to the end against Ole Miss, Texas, and A&M as well, who were average to bad teams.
ETA: don’t blame Saban for voting his team 2nd though. It’s arguable even though I think it’s a stretch

Hard to argue
They should have won that game but Georgia showed grit and won a game they should have been eliminated by.

The real final rankings should be:
1. UGA
2. OSU
3. Michigan
4. Vols
5. Bama
6. TCU
1. UGA
2. OSU
3. Michigan
4. Vols

6. TCU

Bama was no better than 3rd for sure. Probably no better than 4th.

Anybody that would rate TCU over Bama needs to get immediate mental help.

Kirby's ballot is accurate. Saban's is salty AF.

Typical gump. Always trying to find some way to claim something that isn’t theirs. How do you not win your own division in your conference but feel you are second best team in country.
