I will never forget 2018 when he publicly said that UGA was one of the 4 best teams in the country but couldn't vote the Dawgs #4 because they lost lost conference championship game and a more deserving team should get a shot.

In 2011 Nick voted Stanford #3 rather than Oklahoma State, obviously to help improve his chances of getting the rematch against LSU in the Championship game (at that time the Coaches poll was part of the formula). When Alabama came out second, in his press conference Nick “graciously” congratulated Okie St. on their tremendous season. Despite apparently thinking Stanford was even better judging by his poll, he didn’t mention their great season. I’m sure it was just an oversight.
