How many different players has he coached, seriously. Certainly like 500+ at all his stops. There's 127 looks like on just the 2019 roster. And he admits he only loves 4-5 of them?

It's like Dems trying to Meme. They just suck at it so badly.

I don’t want to turn this all political, but what? The Dems completely own the Republicans in the meme game, among other things. Like, it’s not even close.

But I think he was much closer to Bradie James.

I mean seriously, what's he been there 12 years? 85x12/3 = 350-400+ scholarship kids? And he loves 4 of them?? That's not even one kid per national championship. Nick just go away already

I can see it now. LSU shows recruits Saban saying he only loved a few of his players and him basically saying "Oh well" when Tua got hurt and then cut away to Coach O hugging Davidson and Brown of Auburn after the LSU/Auburn game.

Marcus might catch a kicker if he were to fish behind Nick's house now days.

If I’m Nick I do not say that publicly even if it is true. It is just a business to him

I’ll go with:

Ingram
Jalen
Julio
Tua
Derrick Henry

Maybe he hated all of his defensive players

Nah....I'll bet Eddie Jackson is on the list. Eddie was special.

I love this being taken out of context.

If you listen to the full clip, it's pretty clear he's referring to the total person and all the contributions they make to everyone around them.

Saban is old school. His old man set a very high bar with him in terms of expectations. Not many kids (especially these days) are going to clear that bar.

Far from scaring off recruits, I think it reminds them of what is expected of them. It's not like Saban is hurting for kids willing to subject themselves to his demanding process. There are plenty of other coaches you can play for if you want to practice your dance moves.

Whoever said McCarron is crazy. They were publicly beefing at one point in like 2014 or 2015. AJ said some dumb shite in an interview about Nick and it pissed him off when he was asked about it.

Mark Ingram is definitely in the 4 or 5. Ingram is like family to Saban. Ingram spends more time around the program than all other high profile NFL alumni combined

I would feel pretty confident Rashad Johnson is on the the list. Probably #1. Dude was just a walk on who was one of the few Shula guts to buy in to what Saban was selling. Dude was the unquestioned leader of the 08 team and had a solid 9 year pro career from hard work
