my favorite Bama players were Trey DePriest, Blake Sims and Reggie Ragland. Oh and Landon Collins, who was used as a speed bump for Cardale Jones

Is is this 4-5 out of his career all the way back to Toledo and Michigan State? Or just his time at Bama?

If they go to Alabama to be loved, then they go there for the wrong reason. Once they go to college it is a business and all about winning. The players understand this and go to a college for the same reason. To make it to the NFL.
