Milroe is pretty decent now and has potential to improve a lot. He does a couple things already at an elite or good level. The other guys do not.

3 losses minimum.

Probably so, but it ain't all on the qb. That O line is playing as bad as any I've ever seen at the University. Saban needs to go 1 v. 1 all week to find a left tackle that can block Dallas Turner with some semblance of consistency. Proctor should be able to shove a 190lb edge rusher 15 yards wide with just one arm instead of letting him BLOW by.

Alabama gonna run 4 verts, throw it to whoever beats their man or pull it down and run. Also might want to slide their qb to the right. Left side looks a little suspect.

By sitting on the bench?

To be fair, he sat on the bench much better than Tyler played qb

The dude who didn't play?

There’s a lot you can learn about a player who has experienced disappointment and how he responds. You already know what Milroe is physically capable of now you get to see what kind of man he is.

This.

The board is full of smooth brains. You absolutely CAN show great leadership from the sidelines.

How "large" is your offensive line? Are they maybe so big that they can't move?

They’re touted as being bigger than most NFL offensive lines. They can run the ball fairly well sometimes, but they are bad in pass protection. Our freshman left tackle is struggling particularly bad in that area. So, yeah, their size may be an issue when it comes to pass protection.

The real question is why did he not play against USF.

Chess move by Saban after fans complained about not trying the other 2.

Now fans are begging for Milroe

Probably better to catch Bama early in the season this year, before the OL has had time to gel.

He was sidelined so he could observe and learn how to become the leader of this team.

This is maybe the worst argument I've ever read. You have a first year starter with 3 starts under his belt learning a new offense, and you think he sat out a game rather than getting reps against a live opponent to learn about leadership? Cmon.

You might want to listen to Saban's comments at his press conference today and rethink this statement.

He said Buchner practiced better. That's a good explanation. You don't sit a QB trying to learn an offense so that you can see how good of a cheerleader they are. That's nonsensical.

He also said Jalen EARNED the starting job by the LEADERSHIP he showed Saturday.

Damn, I don't blame him for not being a happy camper after being benched, but it takes ALOT to get suspended over it. Wonder what went down

mean out of the guys that have played, he is clearly the best. So not shocking...

The real question is why did he not play against USF. Suspended?

I thought the rumor was he was pissed about losing play time to other QBs so Saban sat him as punishment

Reminiscent of Fat Bert's 2016 (i think) Arky line. "The biggest line in football" or some such. They were shockingly bad.

I’m always on mobile so I don’t even know what’s in there. Give it a week and I’m sure I’ll be able to get an updated one.

I'm sure it had nothing to do with the abortions put on the field by the other QBs.

Cmon.
