They didn’t step up and take control. Still think Ty Simpson is the best passer but the offense didn’t exactly him once he came in. Buchner needs to transfer again.

He did the same at LSU in 2002. Matt Mauck got hurt so Marcus Randall became the starter, he was very meh and people were howling to see Rick Clausen so Saban put him in for a drive or two against Ole Miss and he threw up a few of the ugliest ducks I have seen from an LSU quarterback.
He put Randall back in and nobody complained again.

When you saw Milroe congratulating them on TV vs USF, Mac said that’s not how it went down in practice last week. (fwiw)

There’s a lot you can learn about a player who has experienced disappointment and how he responds. You already know what Milroe is physically capable of now you get to see what kind of man he is.
Brodie could have been a Heisman candidate under Saban. John Parker Wilson quarterbacked a team that won the West. Would kill to have either.
