It’s just fun to remind LSU fans that they are stuck with him for awhile since the LSU leadership gave Coach O a nice fat contract extension. So they can’t afford to fire him lol.

They only fired him now because they wouldn’t have been able to after he won the next 4-5 cupcake games. This was the only window to get rid of him. If they cared, they would have gotten rid of him 2-3 years ago.

If this rumor is true, unless Joey is O-level dumb(meaning he can tie his shoes w/out assistance), he ain't falling for that... Besides living in California, lost some of it's luster (understatement of the decade), why would he leave Ole Miss? Lower taxes, better quality of life, all the coeds he could want (lol), the support from a fanbase and administration that loves him, and coupled with the fact that he's building a machine over there... Name recognition and a significantly lower level of competition seem to be the only appeal...
