I don't get the living in the desert thing. Colorado is partial desert at least, and I'd rather golf and fish than ski. Plus the roads are so dangerous on the mountains with no guard rails often. Can you imagine having teenagers in Colorado and worrying about them driving around on the weekend?

Colorado has great golfing, fishing and skiing in fact. We also have plenty of roads with guard rails, and most of the population lives on the plains, especially family with children

I've heard Seattle has the highest suicide rate because it is always so gloomy. Lack of sunshine causes depression.

That’s actually Wyoming or Montana, believe it or not. But the PNW has high suicide rates overall.

P..S. One of my daughters lives in Seattle. They had a beautiful summer. I visited in July. Perfect weather. But winters are gloomy and wet.

Let’s be honest does anybody actually like living in Alabama. I mean what is the big positive of living in Alabama?

At least it’s not Louisiana so there is that

I mean, I like Alabama because it's slow paced and I live in Central Alabama surrounded by beautiful lakes to bass and crappie fish and recreational lakes as well. Also, I live on eleven acres where I can ride my side x side on my land. I also love the area around for hunting and camping. I mean, I know Seattle is nice. I guess I'm just a small town guy who loves the outdoors and the friendly people here. To each their own though I guess

Nick and his wife were said to have hated it the whole time and were always looking at homes in Red Stick.

I mean he did buy $17 million worth of property in South Florida. You can probably buy the entire city of Tuscaloosa for that much and he chose not to

I hope no one judges Alabama on Decatur

or for that matter, the Village in Prichard, AL. That is a 3rd world shite hole.

I used to live there though when it was lilly white in the 70's. Very nice then but definitely not now.

I've never understood how Huntsville became "rocket city", or why such an industry as designing satellites and such would ever choose Alabama..or anywhere in the deep south for that matter.

I think being a two loss team before the month of November with one being run off the field vs Vandy is in the realm of “unexpected”

My parents both grew up in Alabama. I really never thought about it but was talking to Dad once. Alabama has mountains, valleys, and beaches. Alabama has everything but a desert. It really is a nice state if you enjoy the outdoors.

Does this mean DeBore quits? I mean I'm not in his league but if I were DeBore, I'd be a shittey enough coach to be fired and take all the money with me. A firing at Bama can set up one for life.
