This is, literally, exactly what I was picturing. If your overall, all-time, #1 mistreatment at an away venue is people barking then I don't really know what to say. I've seen drinks thrown on people, I've seen fights, I've seen arguments that have escalated to almost riots...but barking is what takes the cake for you. Huh.
Do "tiger bait", "gator bait", and the like also make your top rudest behaviors?

This has not been my experience at all. It was cussing us in front of my wife and then my daughter. Threatening at times. It is not a fun place to go. I know I’m a Bama fan so I’m sure it’s tougher on us but honestly, that’s the only place I’ve ever seen fans that nasty to visitors. We just done go anymore. All the other places I’ve never had a problem. Haven’t been to arky, mizzou and Kentucky but will one day I hope.

I worked there and had to always make some Grove rounds on Saturdays. I honestly thought they were the most accommodating fans to all visitors.
Been to a ton of USCe games as well. They were pretty awesome.
Great trips to AU and LSU as well.
Never been to Athens, but men barking at other men seems odd.
UTk when they have a hope of anything are the worst by a mile in my experience in the SEC. Worst trips either from observation or because Bama was playing have been in BiG and ACC country where NFL psycho fan culture is more prevalent. Miami, tOSu, and PSU were filled with a-holes.

I have fond memories of The Grove. Nice LSU & Ole Miss people. Even after LSU curb stomped them, they were still nice.
Every fan base has assholes. Avoid them. Pretty simple.

Every team has obnoxious fans, but Kentucky basketball fans are the worst. Spent a lot of time in Alabama, TN, and KY and it’s not close.

I’ve seen a Georgia fan bark in the face of a young girl (probably a kindergartner). She started crying and the guy walked away high-fiving his friends. Dude was probably in his 40s
I understand he was probably hammered drunk, but I’ve never seen a fan base cheer on something like that

LSU fans at least until you get used to dealing with them. That's not to say they can't be good hosts, but they're the only fanbase where being loud/excess emotion/aggression/drunkenness/profanity is borderline inherent to the culture.
I'll say that I've never been fearful of LSU hostility, they're mostly paper tigers when it comes to that and that's ultimately a good thing.

I'd have to vote Tennessee based upon personal experience. They sure were drunk and mad at UNC at the Music City Bowl in 2010. The security guards in our section told us to wait until most of the Vols fans left and crossed the bridge before leaving the stadium.
NC State fans are the unanimous choice as the ACC's rudest fans.

This is always an interesting topic. I don’t think you can glean anything from anyone’s posts here.
One poster will say they saw a member of a fan base do this or that and then the very next poster will say the exact opposite.
It really boils down to personal experience.
People rag on Tennessee fans but they were by far the nicest in my experience. SC was the worst to me.
