The shittiest house in a prime area will gain value. The best house in a shitty area never will.
If you want to maximize value appreciation you should stay away from prime areas and buy a house in a place that is or will soon gentrify.

Trump literally ran on lowering grocery prices
No one made him say he would lower prices, but he did. And people believed him and are pissed he didn’t do what he said he would do.

It's flat out nasty... no idea how this is popular.
It’s not. Even the petros in downtown Knoxville closed. There was a time when a place like Petros could survive here, and it’s been gone for a while. I’m from Knoxville, lived in Nashville for about a decade, and moved back. The food scene here is insanely better than like 2010
Very rural. Mountains. That’s about all I know about Crosby

It’s the one Olympic event that i truly believe was just a drinking game that got popular
Because it is basically a drinking game. Curling clubs exist in the north as an excuse for people to get out of the house in the winter and drink beer with friends. It’s basically the north’s equivalent of winter cornhole
re: Vikings fans right now watching Sam Darnold

The Vikings weren’t a QB away from competing though. If the Vikings spend 30 million to sign him they likely win fewer games this year.
I’m happy for Darnold and am glad it worked out for him

Dude you are a clown. Could you imagine the La Liga big game with Madrid and Barca being performed all in English with Jason Aldean or Garth brooks ?
That’s actually a terrible comparison. Soccer is already an international sport. American football isn’t.
The NFL is in a unique situation. There is only one professional American football league and they are trying to turn it into an international product. La Liga isn’t trying to sell soccer in general or La Liga specifically to American audiences.

The US athletes weren’t booed at all
Apparently Vance was, but NBC edited it out

As the father of two small children, I assure you it’s the children. You can be diligent about making them wash their hands and you can still get norovirus every year.

Socialism in action. Who is paying for it?
Polymarket. A privately-held company.
You have no idea what socialism is
Iran is actually one of the world’s leaders in female education. They lead the world in women with engineering degrees per capita
Iran is terrible in many ways, but there is a massive difference between a place like Saudi Arabia and Iran

I was responding to a poster that said the Packers and Bears were going to run away and control the NFC North going forward. Last season the Bears were 11-6, Packers 9-7-1, and the Vikings and Lions were both 9-8. The Bears set the record for most 4th quarter comebacks, which probably won’t happen again. And the Lions and Vikings should have easier schedules next year while the Bears and Packers will have harder schedules.
No one is running away with the NFC North. All of the teams are pretty good

The Vikings went 9-8 last year
The 90s Bulls had a lot of size and athleticism. They also had a leader who demanded a lot from all the players on the team. That’s a recipe for success.
There are two scenarios in your hypothetical:
1. The Bulls are magically transported as they were and play today. They’d struggle because of 3 point shooting and their defensive effort might get them into trouble. Over time they’d improve and be pretty good.
2. The same Bulls players are born in the 90s and 2000s and form a modern team training like players do today. They’d be incredible.

The Vikings had to start three different QBs due to injuries. They had bad injuries on the oline too
They still went 9-8. The Packers went 9-7-1

When was it awesome?
For like the past 50 years at least. I grew up in the suburbs, went to the city a lot, and go back regularly. Minneapolis is a pretty great city. Great economy, breweries, food is pretty good. If you live in Minnesota the public schools are incredible.
The big downside to Minnesota is the weather.
It’s really funny watching people on this Louisiana site bitching about Minnesota. It’s very clear none of you have been there
re: What is it like in St. Paul, MN?

Minneapolis and St. Paul are effectively the same city. The St. Paul side is pretty quiet and is usually mostly dead after like 6 PM. If you’re visiting you’re going to want to go to Minneapolis.
Give it a week or two and most of ICE will be gone and Minneapolis will be back to being awesome
