If we were B1G teams, we could play cupcakes every weekend.

That's great. I guess the SEC is in complete control of everyone's schedule now. The teams that make the SEC championship game should opt out.

It was nice to have before we played Tech. Especially when they ran the flexbone years ago

As long as they don't get rid of the cupcake at the end of the season, I'm all for it.

We can play Mizzou that weekend and get both an SEC game and a cupcake.

The faux outrage and pearl clutching over this was silly. Who cares if you play a cupcake in late November? There’s no law in sports that says your schedule is supposed to get tougher at the end of the year.

The only people crying about this were Big 10 fanboys and journos who will find something else to complain about.

Sankey once again lobbying to make things tougher for SEC teams.

That's all it ever was. A cupcake tastes the same in November as it does in September.

Only good if they also get rid of the open date that weekend as well.

Auburn would be pissed.

The Hog fan in me wants to say GFY, but the smart-arse in me couldn't help but laugh.

so in other words, you've never played football. You don't understand needing a one week break during a tough season

and you'll get your feelings hurt from this post, like usual...

We should all schedule Northwestern, Purdue, or Rutgers.

I’m torn on this. On one hand I agree, awful weekend of football.

On the other hand - we keep making it harder for SEC teams to get into the CFB playoff.
