Well as a fan it kind of sucks. Basically a spring game in November.

I'll be honest, as a fan I kind of like them every now and then.

The tickets are way cheaper and the temperatures are fantastic for a game in The Swamp. Makes it such an easy game to bring the family. Was a nice break in the schedule to enjoy Gainesville, no gameday stress and enjoy the weather.

this stinks. That weekend was always good to be able to get out to the deer stand and not miss any good games. Guess the starlink mini is getting put to use.

On the other hand - we keep making it harder for SEC teams to get into the CFB playoff.

Not with the expansion that is coming

We can play Mizzou that weekend and get both an SEC game and a cupcake.

I would have guessed that a Georgia fan would want to play UTrans that weekend. They have not been able to beat you yet.

I am glad they have decided to do away with cupcake weekend.

I most likely would have never heard the saying "shite through a tin horn" if it wasn't for CCW.

I was torn. I had to choose which one to hit, and Mizzou belongs less than TX.

The toughest schedules in football keep getting more brutal. While most of the big 10 gets to play shitty teams most of the time. Don’t get me started on ND

Mizzou has played uga incredibly tough. They haven’t won many, but they’ve been great games.

At 1-12, you have one more SEC win than 0-3 TX.

This thread just gives: shots at Mizzou and TX. :)

Perception is reality

That perception wasn’t costing the SEC anything come playoff time. Nobody in that playoff committee room factored it in. The complaining about it came solely from Big 10 fans and douchebag journos who moved on as soon as it was over.

Is that 1 win against Missouri? I am counting an Arkansas win over Missouri this coming season.
