The best part is LSU started Touchdown for LSU with .10 remaining in the 3rd to honor the decades old tradition of playing it at the end of the 3rd quarter. Also, because they wanted to give UF the time to play their tribute. Both bands knew the plan, UF just got salty.

Got a chance to see Tom Petty at Redrock one year. And Lynyrd Skynyrd was the best Southern Rock band of all time. I'd say Florida has done their part in entertaining the masses.

Tom Petty means as much to Gainesville as that goofy Michael Stipe does to Athens.

As one that visits Gainesville every time Aubie plays there since Pell, Hall, Ball Coach and most recently jamin to Petty two years ago... I enjoyed it and don’t get the irrelevant trolling especially from a team, fan base that has never played there.

sCam Newton played football at UF for a couple of years before he threw a laptop instead of a football. You had no problem claiming him.
