They're protesting Gavin Newsome, correct?

re: Florida is putting an end to all school vaccine mandates

Serious question:
If you're vaccinated against the diseases, will you still catch/spread it?
Meaning if I have the polio or measles vaccine, isn't the kid protected from it?
That's typically what vaccines are supposed to do. Well, except for COVID and the flu, but that's another discussion.
So my question is, why do you care if other people's kids are vaccinated if your kid is?
To be clear, my kids are 18 and 26 and were vaccinated, so I don't have a dog in this fight.
Just curious as to why people care as long as their kid is vaccinated?

That's shocking with the republican vote and Trump endorsing it.

Miami and Hillsborough County flips are insane.
It's not even close there.

Again. Watch the counties that went blue in 2020 (Duval, Hillsborough and Miami-Dade)
Those go red, it's a good sign.

I'm 100% taking DataRepublican's word on the interpretation of what those numbers mean, which may be total nonsense to be honest.
It was their best guess. Those numbers mean nothing. Pay attention to the areas that went blue in 2020 and are now red at the moment. Duval, Miami Dade and Hillsborough.
We're 1.5 hours from those polls closing and they're still red. Bodes well.

just want to make sure you guys know you're looking at the "election day ONLY" numbers that does not count early/mail-in votes.
The actual advantage is currently 10.19%
Right. I think they're trying to gauge election day enthusiasm.
Here's the BIGGEST thing to look at IMO in Florida.
Breakdown
Democrat
2,875,197 (32.50%)
63.82% of 2016 Clinton votes
78.95% of 2016 Democrat votes
Republican
3,834,031 (43.33%)
83.03% of 2016 Trump votes
103.52% of 2016 Republican votes
Republicans are already at 103% of the Republican votes in 2016. We still have 9 hours to go.
Democrats are at 78% of the 2016 numbers.
Those are the numbers to watch. I understand Florida has changed significantly over the past 8 years, but 78% vs 103% shows who's turning out.
At least in Florida.
re: Is Florida is the new Texas? Republicans +5% in Miami-Dade early voting

Desantis' handling of Covid attracted Republicans fleeing Democrat strong holds.
I remember him telling the Dem mayors to pound sand when they tried implementing authoritarian restrictions.
He even told his cabinet members (mostly Halsey Beshears) to GTFO when they tried to do the same.
Makes sense that it turned bright red and will be for a LONG time now.

The more I look at those numbers, the more I smile. Florida is in good shape.

The funny thing about this is it's the authoritarian democrats' fault. If they hadn't pushed so hard during covid, people wouldn't have fled to Florida.
Now it's solidly red and will be for a LONG time.
