Auburn and TN with most games played against top 10 teams. Auburn with second most number of wins. Interesting.

SEC Rant troll mode {off}
A lot of stats on this board are meaningless crap to make one school look good/bad. This is a pretty meaningful stat on how good your program has been these last 20 years. to LSU

Atleast we didn’t lose to UAB and Troy during that time.

Coaching hires are a crapshoot. How many shitty guys did you have before you landed on Saban?

Dubose (won the SEC in 99)
Fran (10-3 and gone to aTm in 02)
Price for a few months
Shula (26-23; stale offense)

The main issue Alabama had in the early 2000's was NCAA sanctions. No coach wanted to come near the scholarship limitations and bowl ban.

It was a dumpster fire and it was an embarrassing time to be an Alabama fan.

I caught shite on a daily basis during those years.

People give Shula shite, but without Shula there is no Saban.

Where have you been?
Since you people love to talk in historical terms also,

LSU -
""""""""""""""""""" B E F O R E """"""""""""""""

you people's favorite year 2000 that you love to mention so much -

was TWELFTH all-time nationally in number of NCAA victories, and 9th in bowl appearances..
(we are now closing in on 11th in victories and 7th in bowl apps.)

No one else wanted the job at the time that Price got fired. Alabama was a punchline and it was May. It was either going to be Shula or Croom.

I pray we can do better once Saban retires.
