I love laughing at UGA as much as the next guy but this isn't an UGA problem. This is an entitled athlete problem most likely created by people covering up his messes since jr high.

Try again, sport. Those kind of castoffs end up at Alabama.

This narrative always cracks me up. Other schools bring in trash yet "Auburn will take them".

ETA and it seems to happen at UGA frequently. Why is that?

Note I am not beating up on the UGA program. When you have so many players you get bad people from time to time.

It's the same with professional athletes, celebrities, etc.

While not all go down this road (probably most), the sense of entitlement gives one a sense of "I can get away with anything" and a disconnect from reality. Get enough people constantly telling you how awesome you are and kissing your arse and eventually you don't view people the same (not always, but the ever present danger is always there).

College athletes are new to this same thing that we've seen with child actors, musicians, etc. Hard to remember when looking at them that they're still basically kids - but kids who, throughout high school, were told how amazingly awesome they were and then in college.

Bama would seem the more likely landing spot, since the last UGA player charged with felony domestic violence got a one way ticket to TTown.

How can you kick someone off the team, who isn’t even on the team yet. Right now, he’s just a student at UGA

Right... Where's Sandeep majoring in computer engineering's spread like this.

If he played for Saban and he was a contributor, Saban would come up with the innocent until proven and "disciplined him" in private.
