Because UGA kicks out players that do wrong. We tend not to give players who did wrong elsewhere a second chance and we tend not to cover up/excuse bad behavior. Instead we tend to dismiss the player from the team.
Auburn does take in those players kicked out by other teams. Cam Newton. Nick Marshall. Tray Matthews. Harsin managed to avoid it, but given Freeze's history many assume he'll go back to that sort of behavior.

To be fair Harsin couldn’t sell pure spring water to someone dying of thirst. He would try but would end up losing his way and spilling the bottle right in front of their eyes.
Harsin was terrible. Quite possibly the worst coach in modern SEC history. Without question the worst coach in recent Auburn history.
