currently, I think LSU has the edge. 10 years or so ago Florida did. Historically, it's prob a push. LSU has 5 national team titles to Florida's 4. LSU has 3 individual national titles to Florida's 2. LSU has 16 conference team titles to Florida's 15. But yes, it's very close

1. Florida - As dominant as we've been recently, Florida has a pretty incredible history of PGA Tour players, that would get remembered a lot more fondly if people remembered 2nd place in majors. Doug Sanders was fantastic, but only had 4 runner ups in majors with no victories (did have double digit tour victories though). Dimarco finished 2nd in majors 3 times, losing each to great players (Tiger, Singh) and two of them were in playoffs. Andy North had the opposite type of career winning two US Opens without being known as a great player. Other PGA winners include Calc (has Open Championship), Tommy Aaron (Masters champ), Gay, Every, Villegas, Billy Ho, Gary Koch, Andy Bean, and I'm sure some other players I'm forgetting.
2. Georgia - Bubba, Kiz, Henley, English, Harman, Swafford, Kirk, Beck, Kratzert, Simposn, Imada, and Todd. All PGA Tour Winners. Tommy Tolles was really good for a two year stretch (96-97). McCoy and Mitchell look like they could be great one day as well.
3. Arkansas - Daly, Miller Barber, Lingmerth and Cook are the guys I can think of with Tour wins. Landry looks like he'll get one in the next couple years. Can probably throw Stacy Lewis in there for her impact on the LPGA.
4. Alabama - JT is going to become the #1 ranked golfer in the world in the next few weeks IMO. Just a stud. Jerry Pate has a major title. Michael Thompson, Steve Lowery, and everyone's favorite golfer Jason Bohn also have tour wins. Cauley and Wyatt seem like they should get tour wins at some point.
5. Auburn - Duff daddy, Huston, and Kizzire are multiple winners on tour. Blayne Barber and Dom Bozzelli are a couple young promising players.
6. LSU - Kinda the opposite of LSU football, it seems as if LSU's historical success in golf was a while ago. Have 4 PGA Tour winners who were born in 1935 or earlier. Recently, David Toms has been great, Kaufmann somehow got a PGA Tour win, and Sam Burns looks to be one of the best young golfers in the game.
7. Texas A&M - Ryan Palmer and Jeff Maggert have been the two mainstays on the PGA Tour. Nacho Elvira (arguably best name in golf) has played well over the last couple years on the Euro Tour. Cameron Champ is one of the most fun golfers to watch because he bombs the ball, and should be fun to watch in the future. Martin Piller's been great on the Web tour, not as much success on the PGA Tour yet.
8. - Kentucky - JB Holmes is probably the best golfer UK has ever produced. Solid career with a couple Ryder/President Cups thrown in there. Steve Flesch got his 1st PGA tour Champions victory last week. Russ Cochran also had success there.
9. Vanderbilt - Very few big name Vandy golfers. Sneds is obviously the big one, and Luke List has been awesome this season. Bombs the ball. Wouldn't be shocked if he picked up his first PGA Tour win in SA this weekend.
10. Tennessee - Jim Gallagher Jr. is probably more known for being on the Golf Channel, but he has a few Tour victories. Chris Paisley's been killing it on the European Tour. Think he's playing in the Zurich with Tommy Fleetwood so that should be a fun team to lookout for. Oliver Goss was low-am at the Masters (I think) but his pro career hasn't lived up to it's promising billing so far.
11. South Carolina - Wesley Bryan won on Tour last year, and even though he appears to have fallen off the track a little bit, it was good to see an SC guy win the RBC.
12. Ole Miss - Not sure about PGA Tour careers, but Braden Thornberry showed a lot of Tour potential with the NCAA title win last spring, followed up immediately by a great showing at the Fed Ex St. Jude's
13&14. Miss St & Mizzou - I might just be blanking, but I legitimately can't think of a player from either of these schools off the top of my head.
As far as best golfers by school go I'll put:
1. JT, 2. Bubba, 3. Sanders or Calc, 4. Toms, 5. Daly, 6. Dufner, 7. Sneds, 8. JB, 9. Maggert, 10. Gallagher Jr., 11. Bryan

I was solely talking about on the PGA Tour.
I know y’all won recently. I believe y’all beat us in the semis. Think Ben Taylor was the leader of that team and he’ll be on tour in the next couple years. Zach Wright was also really good.
Know recently y’all have had some guys like Burns and Barbaree (won US Jr. Am) on top of that who are also great. I promise you, i know y’all have been a very good program recently.

Alabama has the obvious, Justin Thomas, but Bud Cauley is legit. Drue Love (Davis Love’s son) ain’t bad. Trey Mullinax very solid. Bobby Wyatt was supposed to be ridiculous but he sucks now
