If Duke can succeed Vanderbilt can. Not to that level of course but you get what I mean. You're in Nashville, in the SEC, and just need about 7-8 players to win.
Idk why Vanderbilt has been so bad for so long. Sure facilities but Duke doesn't have any better facilities and that hasn't stopped them.
I think with the right coach Vanderbilt becomes a top tier SEC team.

What's the criteria?
Arkansas- facilities, fan support, tradition and history
Texas A&M - money
Alabama - athletes
Vanderbilt- academics

It's subjective.
But imo Arkansas is the best job open since they seem to care about basketball the most and have had the most success with the best facilities of the group.

Wut?
Bama is the worst job. Saban and terrible facilities.

1. Arkansas: Historical top 15 program that provides top notch facilities, money, fan support, and a state that produces good to great talent.
2. Alabama: Top 6 program in the league. The right coach would excite the fan base.
3. Vanderbilt: Close to Bama. Probably shouldn't have fired Stallings. A good landing spot for a young up and comer. Has resources to keep a good coach around.
4. Texas A&M: Historically inconsistent. Has money, but no historical success to show a proven coach that someone can win there. Has large recruiting base, but also recruiting in state against more prestigious Big 12 programs.

I won't argue. It's nice that, despite this, we're going to have the best hire!

Whichever one that will have the propensity to overpay for an average coach...which I think Aggie will do...then Bama.

Alabama has the 2nd most number of basketball wins behind Kentucky all time. Most don’t know that

1) Alabama
2) Arkansas
3) A&M
4) Vanderbilt
This could be different for every coach. I factored in the willingness to pay as one of the highest considerations.

Arkansas has the history.
Alabama was paying AJ over 3 million. TAM and Bama are both going to pay big money.
Vanderbilt is a good job, but the academic requirements are tough.

Arkansas. If LSU opens up, which I hope it doesnt, then Lsu. Then the rest.
