Yet the Vols have a weaker OOC schedule in 2025...

08/30 - vs Syracuse (in Atlanta, GA)
09/06 - ETSU
09/20 - UAB
11/15 - New Mexico State

They win one championship in a sport that barely makes the big 3 and now we have to read threads like this.

Leave it to the VolunQueers to make it one-sided.

UCLA also wanted out.......it was amicable on both sides due to conference realignment.

It's bullshite that we're expected to play both FSU and Miami every year while the rest of the SEC only plays 1 P5 OOC.

UF doesn't play Miami every year - they have not played against once another since 2019

Who's forcing you to do that, the SEC?

Our AD found out what soaking was, and was so disgusted that he backed out of the game

I think the "expected to" comment is the ongoing slack we get from rival fans in state for not playing Miami every year like we used to.

Pretty clear indicator that the SEC is going to 9 conference games by 2026.

UGA had 3 P5 teams out of conference in 2026. UCLA, Louisville and GT. If the number of OOC games is dropping from 4 to 3, I'm guessing UGA will be having to rearrange schedules to not have 3 P5's OOC in future years.

Other years where there might be issues:

2027 - FSU, Louisville, GT
2030 - OSU, Clemson, GT
2033 - Clemson, NCSU, GT

I'm guessing Clemson comes off in 2030 and 2033. I hate it but it's possible FSU goes away as well.

UGA likely isn't going to play 12 P5 teams in a 12 game regular season. I doubt anyone else will either. We'll play 11 most years.

I wish we would have dropped Louisville and kept UCLA instead. Would have worked out better.

By the way, the Auburn/UCLA series in 2027/2028 has also been cancelled. I'm guessing this is mutual for Big 10/SEC teams dropping games due to expanding conference schedules.

It’s likely Marshall will present more of a challenge than UT.

UGA has always played one of the weakest non con schedules in the SEC. This is expected
