No one knows if Silverfield is going to be good or bad He was just thrown into a shitshow.
I honestly know nothing about him. I kinda feel sorry for the guy unless he really sucks or is a bad person.

“Acted yet “?
What would you propose they do? Shitcan a new coach after five games?
We want the AD fired.
I’m glad folks are finally coming around, I started a thread about firing him on the Arkansas board SIX YEARS AGO.

The bill that just passed the Senate and is headed to the House says differently.
Let's say this is part of their masterplan, nothing has been stated or explained to the fanbase how it fits into their plan.
Hunter Yurachek ducked out of the yearly touchdown club public appearance Q&A and has not posted on twitter in over a month.
When asked about the BOTs public statement that the state of the football program was being reviewed, he responded with he knew nothing of it.
All the talk about how Arkansas doesn't have the roster to compete is disregarding that Hunter promised that Arkansas would be "upper half" in funding this season, when in fact they were again dead last in football funding.
Then the fanbase learns that all the millions Silverfield raised after he was hired was not allowed to be used by the football program this season and was put into the general operation fund with Silverfield and the donors having no idea where the money went and/ if it was used.
The only public comments Hunter gives is centered around the theme it is the fans fault and they do not donate enough.

If you knew Arkansas football and culture, you would rethink that statement.

Although I agree with you an mean no disrespect, LSU wouldn’t give some five minutes if this stuff started happening

He seems to be a good guy who is in over his head.
No one blames him for taking the job, he was only wanted to be in the job by Yurachek.
His soft arse offense was never going to work in the SEC, everyone knew this but him and Hunter Yurachek.

Ok, then this is a fire Hunter Yurachek boycott. I understand that. Appreciate you explaining.

Fans are done.
We've been more than patient.
If something doesn't change during the season or immediately after, the stands will be empty next year.
We've been abused, taken for granted, and these arse holes have ruined Razorback football. We have a small state, we love our hogs. But the people in charge obviously have different priorities. frick them all.

Yurachek should be fired but Silverfield deserves at least another year. It’s not Silverfield’s fault Hunter is an idiot who fired Bert and hired Chad Morris.

Not sure we will ever know...
Football is a combination of spend (80%) and coaching (20%). We are last in the SEC in spend. Predictable outcome.

I mean some State fans were ready to can Lebby his first year. Some still wanted to can him last year. Now some are afraid he’s going to get poached by a bigger school (or they were until Saturday). Overreactions in both directions. I think a coach ought to at least be allowed a couple of years to show progress. As far as the AD, etc., I have no opinion on that.

Hunter ran to the national media guys and put in their ears the fanbase was upset of the losses by Silverfield.
He left the Utah game early and fluff pieces popped up the next day from the media guys he used.
He didn't mention that he had interviewed for every P4 and conference front office job open the past 6 years. He's effectively quit on the job while drawing a check. More of his time is spent in real estate adventures than doing his actual job.
Hes been selling the BOT that everything has been fine in football since it has continued to be profitable.

Meaningless.
Those roaches have been protesting basic hygiene by not bathing for years.

Fairly certain the object is the AD. Silverfield is collateral damage.
Posted on 10/4/26 at 7:23 pm to Hailst8
No one and I mean no one wanted Silverfield.
The fanbase would have been able to be sold on Wommack or Lunney Jr over Silverfield.
Thankfully Hunter doubled down with the contract buyouts forcing Arkansas to ride it out for a few years regardless.
He will have to shite can his offensive coordinator.

I’m embarrassed with my fanbase. Truly, for the first time in nearly 50 years I’m ashamed and it isn’t because of the football product

Silverfield wasn't a good FCS coach, Memphis was looking for a way out of his contract and HY secretly hire him while pretending to be looking for a coach.

Protesting the AD and BOT.

Arkansas fans:
If you attend a game, buy a AR football merch, you are officially part of the problem.
Burn it down is the only way.
This isn't the time for the old "but true fans" stuff.
If you are a true fan, make the BOT suffer.
