Every school has an in state rival and an out of state rival. You cant really equate the two because they mean different things. In state rivals are little brothers like what Auburn is to bama and the Aggies to Texas. Out of state rivalries tend to be border states that have much more equal programs. Thats what Tennessee is to Bama and Oklahoma is to Texas.

I agree, and out of state is where I think SC fans have main rivals that don't consider them main rivals.

SC-UGA would probably be widely considered our main out of state rival, but they would see Auburn, UT, and UF as bigger out of state rivals.

UNC was our main out of state rival and I could see them still thinking that to an extent, but that rivalry has died some (until more recently)

I'm sure a Longhorn will be along to tell everyone that we don't care as much at the Aggies as they care about us.

which is total bullshite. We care every bit as much as they do.

When both teams are good LSU and Ole Miss has always been a heated rivalry. I’d say more-so than Ole Miss and MSU.

Thankfully their are resources other than you to determine who Ole Miss' main rival is.

If the SEC Rant Oxford meet up really happens in September I'd suggest wearing a kevlar vest under your tank top at this point

Everyone knows that UGA's biggest rival is the Athens Police department.

It’s true.

But it’s fun to downplay Aggie. Drives them nuts.

I don't think LSU has any songs or chants that reference any other schools, specifically.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Alabama's biggest rival has been debatable for decades.
Most of the younger fans would agree that it is Auburn. The majority of us older fans tend to lean toward Tennessee as the true rival. Some of us are old enough to remember when Alabama and Auburn did not play each other in football.

The back and forth is one of the things I love about the Aggie rivalry. I'm really happy to have it back.

You could also add Arkansas:

They consider Texas and Mizzou as main rivals.

Bama fans my age bracket(40s) and older, are split on who they despise the most. Some, like me consider Tennessee as our biggest rival because the "Third Saturday in October" meant more rankings and standings wise when I was growing up. To me, losing to Auburn is like losing to your little brother...just annoying. Losing to Tennessee when I was growing up and the few losses we have to yall lately, was always devastating in terms of national and conference standings and rankings.

LSU is a distant and I mean, distant third behind UT and Auburn. We don't hate or even dislike LSU much because we beat them more often than any other program outside the state of Mississippi(Bama literally owns Ole Miss and Miss State like they are homecoming opponents record wise).
