Oh yeah we have. Did you not watch the debut of BAS on SEC Shorts on the national stage this week? She’s been around longer than Hope for those of us from the 1900’s. Forgive the youngsters; ancient history is a post-graduate course.

Submit this 6 year old and 1,500 +/- page exhibit for those wanting to understand the full gamut of teasip thoughts in their native element on this subject:

We can leave it as an exercise for any reader not convinced if they want to sort by replies on that site to see who is a distant #2.

Don’t put that hex on us. You never know what kind of spider tack rosin voodoo some pitching staff has cooking. In the SEC, any team can beat any other team on any day.

Both Carolinas were well represented amongst the defenders. Tennessee earned that nickname. We are grateful for every man that fought there, at Goliad, San Jacinto and elsewhere. You can sort the attached by state/nation of origin. Important note is the number of Hispanic names on this list. Native born Tejanos were also fighting for Liberty against Santa Anna’s tyranny.

Yes, that would be helpful; I stand corrected.
JDC did throw the ball a little, but he wasn’t the QB. Will edit.

Re: Bear’s record at A&M. That first year was the Junction Boys camp where Bear went to separate out the “quitters from the keepers”. Look at his next two years and you can see what he did. That last year A&M was in line for the NC until Bama’s almost tortious interference near the end of the season leaked out that “Mama called”. We understand what that means and why he had to go; just file it under what might have been.

This led to one of the great pictures of all time in the Bama-A&M series later:

Much like Enterprise Alabama’s Boll Weevil Monument, I think it would be appropriate to have a statue of the track coach who embodied little brother tu’s arrogance which caused us to make the move we should have made a long time ago when Roy Kramer was talking to RC.
Just trolling with the dinosaurs comment? You do know that dinos are a minuscule part of current oil reserves?

This is Disney vs Fox Sports. Disney is in the process of selling off part, or all, of ESPN. They won’t do anything that would decrease or monkey with the value of that. We can only hope they spin it out and get away from the woke virus that is crashing what Walt built. All SEC decisions are based on maximizing revenue to each school, plain and simple, plus SEC HQ getting a share of that pie. This plus NIL and transfer portals….

As Aggies, the rivalry talk with LSU was more like a reunion with cousins that used to see for a while, then wondered why they stopped showing up in ‘95? We understand that the LSU/OM rivalry has been their bread and butter. The LSU series before A&M became coed, integrated, and corps service optional in the 60’s was typically as the money game to make the athletic budget so many times the Age would choose to have the game in Louisiana or off campus at a bigger stadium and keep the gate proceeds knowing it would be a sellout crowd.
I attended when the series renewed in the 80’s and talked to a lot of the old Ags who enjoyed the road trips. Generally speaking, in the 80’s and 90’s, we kind of felt bad about the win streak because it came at Curley’s expense. If we had listened to RC Slocum and others,we would have moved over a lot sooner. Glad to be here, but y’all have been warned, tu is like the old homecoming Queen who is over the hill, who divorced her two exes, then tried to date two other conferences as she looked down her nose at the “inferior” academics, concerned about culture clashes with the SEC. She is only here for the money until DelConte can bring about Dodds dream super conference with ND, USC, et all. There is a reason we call them Berkeley East and that has only accelerated in the past 5 years. Admittedly, we had that DEI poison worm its way into A&M.

“In front of the MSC, there are 70 trees that surround Simpson Drill Field to honor the 70 Aggies that gave their lives in World War I. Inside the Honor entrance of the MSC stands the Aggies Lost in Service memorial which lists names of Aggies who made the ultimate sacrifice since WWII. Additionally, the Hall of Honor memorializes eight brave Aggies who received the Congressional Medal of Honor for their distinguished acts of valor.

The MSC also houses three art galleries, multiple eating facilities, a bookstore, piano practice rooms, and The Flag Room. The Flag Room, also known as the “living room of Texas A&M,” is a place where students often gather to study, meet friends to eat, have meetings, or just to take a nap between classes.

Since the MSC is a living memorial, those entering the building are asked to remove their hats. Those walking outside are asked not to walk on the grass outside surrounding the facility, also as a sign of respect to fallen Aggies.”

Bear was winning at A&M after starting out with The Junction Boys (very good movie to watch) and was on track to an undefeated season until Bama’s tortious interference and word got out that “Mama called”.
