Did you just think Alabama players were really passionate about General Studies this whole time?

I remember watching Cribs, I guess it may still be own, and they would go to some athletes house and the first thing he showed off was an entertainment system with gaming console worth 10s of thousands of dollars.

You know what it makes them happy and if they end up at Walmart after their career checking receipts it is what it is.

If these pro sports teams really cared about these guys, they would have something in the contract that an amount of their money had to go into a trust or something so they don't end up on the streets after blowing through millions of dollars.

Tua's was actually pretty damn good. He's polished, articulate, and educated.

You can’t be serious. He was by far the dumbest QB in the draft last year.

Tua has a solid family around him...that makes all the difference.

I also believe he's one who said he'd save all of his contract money and just live today off of his endorsement money. Smart.

This new video series proves many pro athletes are dumber than a box of rocks. Without pro sports most would be on welfare & food stamps. These videos prove college athletic programs find a way to let them glide thru college without learning or accomplishing anything - and graduate with 6th grade reading and comprehension skills. This shite is disgusting. This makes me sick to my stomach. It makes me not want to watch sports anymore.

Pro athletes truly appear to be among the dumbest people alive. How can anyone admire these pathetic fools?

So I take it, this will be your last thread and you are signing off. I mean, what could be lower than following your favorite team that is dumber than a box of rocks?

This is more of an indictment of the “advisors” these kids have than the kids themselves. Remember, they are kids. Many surround themselves with people who are supposed to help them make good decisions but are often times just siphoning money off of them. Some surround themselves with family. But most have no idea what to do with this kind of money.

You're calling Tua dumb? Well, that tells us all we need to know about you. You've obviously got fewer brain cells than a fricking head of cabbage.

Seriously. You are one monumentally stupid motherfricker. You're a poster child for birth control.

Majority don’t understand that when they get in the league the $ they earn is suppose to last them the rest of their life. The average player doesn’t make it longer than 5 years. But you can’t tell them that. They’re all going to be the next prime time. They should all take Gronk’s approach when he got in the league. Dude was shopping at Goodwill

The other issue for many of these athletes is they fail to plan for the years once they stop playing until they can retire. The NFL does have one of the worst pensions of pro sports though but their 401K is actually rated as one of the best in the country. Again the problem is they have to wait until they are in their 60's.

Some are and some aren't.

Why are you are putting them all in the
same category?

You think all of em read at a 6th grade
level?

Look how many idiots go broke after they win the lottery.

BTW,Elon Musk just invested $1.5 billion in Bitcoin and its close to its
All time high. Good investment or bad investment? You tell me

Some NFL athletes are smart with their money. Just in Denver alone both Elway and Manning have invested enough so they never have to work again. Upbringing matters

Most of the time it is a disaster. That is what happens when you have punks with millions of dollars and no support system. Even some of my colleagues at work who make significantly more than the average American do stupid shite instead of paying off house or saving for retirement.

If you are lucky enough to be in top few percentage of earners you should be living debt free.
