" IF I had known how ignorant Laremy Tunsil is I never would have squawked about his illegal recruitment at Ole Miss. He was just a fool doing what fools do - like he still doing today."

Based on the Laremy's video, what are these foolish things he is doing?
He hired a financial advisor to assist him with his money, he negotiated what by all accounts is a very successful contract without using an agent. He waited until he signed his second contract before he bought gifts for his family. And then part of the million dollars he spent was given to charity.

So I guess the question is, why do you fricking care more about how a pro football player spends his money than Mike Tyson or Paris Hilton? Unlike Paris Hilton, at least the players actually worked hard to earn that money.

You’re really comparing the Not for Long money for guys who’s careers average like 3-4 years to movie and music stars who take money in well into their later years?

Yep,sounds like a real idiot.

I'd say he probably has a pretty good future as an agent/advisor if he chooses to go in that direction

Paris Hilton actually kicks arse with her own brand and business.
Not sure where you're getting your information. LINK

quote:

Hilton has been busy creating a billion-dollar brand. A whopping 18 perfumes (the newest one a limited 10th-anniversary edition) have resulted in $2 billion in sales; she has 56 eponymous branded stores in the Middle East and Asia selling her line of handbags; and she’s got 16 licenses across the categories of clothing, accessories, beauty and watches. Then there’s an entire DJ and recording-artist career. Her business, Paris Hilton Entertainment, now has hundreds of employees. This kind of empire building isn’t something one does between glasses of champagne.

She ain't living off Daddy's money and has built a huge brand for herself.

Not being financially intelligent is one thing......as an aside, where are all these multi millionaire agents who signed these players up early in their careers....but as one prominent agent said in a S.I. article several yrs ago " my biggest headache is the first of the mth when I have to cut all the child support checks my clients owe to their multiple ex's ". Warren Sapp owed something like 8-9 ex's thousands & thousands of dollars in child support. The record was a former NBA player for Seattle back in the day who was paying child support to 26 ex's, this per the same S.I.article. One baby can be the heat of the moment, two babies, "oops !", but 3-4-5-6 babies by 3-4-5-6 different ladies??? The phrase "dumb & dumber" comes to mind.

Yeah, not too smart. 26? Ouch. That would be a bundle. They will bleed him dry then none of them will get anything.
