Coaches poll is so lazy. All they did was take the playoff teams from last year, pull out the two G5 teams, and drop in ND and UTa.

So OU is ranked 7th in the SEC preseason poll and 9th in the coaches poll is interesting.

We won't really know until at least a few weeks into the season. You'd think the last three years would have humbled SEC fans but I guess not.

Ummmm....people on this board said the same thing about IU last year. They had played in the weak Big Ten. People who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

There's no defending Indiana's schedule. I dont know how any fan of the sport would want national championship level teams playing such a garbage out of conference schedule.

Ohio State has Texas but it also has Ball State and Kent State. Indiana has North Texas which has been a solid program. Is Ohio State's out of conference schedule tougher? Sure on the basis of Texas > North Texas but don't act like Ball State and Kent State aren't soft touches.
I'll guess we'll see soon as who is better between Ohio State and Indiana since it is your fourth game.

I'll take a page out of the SEC playbook. For years, many of the top SEC teams played weak out of conference schedules including those complete cupcakes just before rivalry week. The retort? "Our conference schedule is so strong that it doesn't matter." Now that the Big Ten is clearly stronger than the SEC and has been for a while, why isn't that a fine retort now for Indiana?
