Funny you mention Texas A&M. Last year, Texas A&M started at #21 and made the CFP. Texas started #1 and did not make said CFP.

On schedule let’s release a half arse list of teams ahead of season knowing more than half will not be ranked 1/2 way through season. Lazy reporters using last year results to create list in 10 minutes for the world to respond over month about how the list sucks.

We all know your schedule from last year. We all know that Texas started a brand new QB and 4 new o-linemen last year. We all saw how Texas improved as the season went on and how A&M again collapsed in late season games that mattered the most. Also, we all saw Texas win by double digits against a&m for the 2nd year in a row.
We all know the facts and the facts are humuliating, yet again, for aggie football, as they have been for the past 87 years.

Sounds like a bunch of excuses for a vaunted #1 team. Look forward to this year's iteration. Saw that they're preemptively using the "we're young" one. Don't you idiots know you can't use that excuse two years in a row? At some point, the coach is responsible for the roster.

The safest investment you can make is to get as liquid as possible and bet everything you can that Texas A&M will finish outside of the Top 10.

One thing is for certain, if you're a Notre Dame or Texas fan, you can take comfort in knowing your football team will ALWAYS start the season ranked inside the top 10 or 12. It doesn't matter if your team is coached by Tyrone Willingham, Charlie Weiss, Charlie Strong or Tom Herman, the press will stick those 2 programs inside the top 10 to start every fricking season.
This year is fine because both schools are deserving of their top 10 preseason ranking but it's all those years that they weren't deserving that I'm talking about.

-.Gonna be a crowded top 10.
-.A 2 loss aggy will be passed over in ranking by many other 2 loss teams.
-.aggy needs to fill a couple of big holes on O-line.
-.Schedule is more difficult this year. @Bama, @OU, @LSU almost guarantee 2 losses. @SCe and Tennessee and ASU at home is another 1 or 2 losses.
