Sure if you take away playing on the road against a top 5 non conference opponent, their non conference schedules are exactly the same. Great point.

Well I guess you can punish Indiana by stomping them in week 4? I mean, on the field results are all that matter. What are you going to say if they beat you?

Ohio State vs Indiana isnt until the middle of October so your timeline is off but other than that what does a conference game between Ohio State and Indiana have to do with Indiana's non-conference schedule?
Indiana could beat Ohio State and be the best team in the conference again but that still doesnt excuse the poor non-conference schedule.

I'll take a page out of the SEC playbook. For years, many of the top SEC teams played weak out of conference schedules including those complete cupcakes just before rivalry week. The retort? "Our conference schedule is so strong that it doesn't matter." Now that the Big Ten is clearly stronger than the SEC and has been for a while, why isn't that a fine retort now for Indiana?

There are only 3 non-conference games. They have one solid game and you have one exceptional game. Now that means their schedule is completely weak? If you're better than them, beat them in the middle of the season.

Bama is my surprise pick for the season. Love being #11. Shows someone thinks we’re good.
I will enjoy football again. Yes, winning all those titles and going to five championship games, winning three was electric. But truth be known, being a Bama fan was getting boring. Now I can yell, scream, get nervous again instead of just yawning.
Now, we’re back to earth and starting over.
If a fan of a team we’re playing this year isn’t a bit concerned what Alabama team will show up, well, I get it. I don’t know either.
It will be fun

Drinkwitz! I did post the regular season record for this season to be 5-7. It blows my mind that people are still thinking about that huge win over OSU a while back.

I'm an OU fan first and by virtue of having to play a killer SEC schedule for the third year in a row, I readily admit that the SEC is, from top to bottom, the toughest conference in the country.
Indiana DID have a weak out-of-conference schedule last season and will have a relatively weak schedule again this year. However, that doesn't discount the fact that the Hoosiers were without doubt the best team in college football last year.
